  • Yeah, I've used them no problems, have had problems with "3" though who simply3g signed me up to. Twice now they have not taken a payment even though I have phoned them with my credit card number which has made getting cashback very difficult. Other than that fine.

    Hi

I am having problems getting Simply3g to pay out for my final cashback and am about to raise a small claim against them to get the £125 they owe me.

Does anyone have any experience of issuing a small claim as I have never done anything like this.

I am 33 weeks pregnant, signed off from work with pre-eclampsia and I just do not need the hassle (or to lose out on so much money). I was hoping that threatening Simply3G with a small claim would be enough to get them to back down as I am clearly in the right.

I do not know how Simply3G can make their customers adhere to a term and condition that they do not even publish on their website and only mention when you phone them up - namely the fact that they will now accept an internet printed bill from the phone company as long as you ring them and let them know. They publish this t&c on their website - but when you ring them to tell them you will be sending in a copy bill they then inform you that you have to contact them within 30 days of the bill being originally created (I was still fruitlessly trying to get hold of the original from 3 at this point).

Any hints or tips on small claims would be greatfully received.

I got the same deal as you! I ended up never using the phone or contract and gave it to my brother in law instead!

quinny - thanks for this updated info. I have just ordered mrs GunJack's new mobile from them via quidco, and getting 18 mths for a total after cb of £50. Quidco is tracking at £30 reather than the £17.50 advertised. It's my first quidco attempt, so I'll be well happy if it all goes through okay AND I get my cashback :D

  • Hi, I have just received a new mobile from Simply3G that had 6 months free via cashback. The phone has just arrived but there is no redemption form like for the other companies I have used. Do I need one? Or do I simply send the bills in, with covering letter, to Simply3G.

    Thanks in advance.

My wife has the same deal as Amazaki, and she is awaiting her final payment.

The claim went in about 2 weeks ago,and the previous 2 were paid out, although in my opinion,a little slow.

    Just follow instructions here. http://www.simply3g.co.uk/helpdesk/helpdesk_frames.htm

Make sure you follow them exactly. Mine is just covering letter with original top page of bills requested.

They usually send an e-mail about 10 days later to say if claim has been approved.
Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
