Anyone had issues with Just3g and their cashback ?? I've had other cashback deals with the likes of simply3g, e2save, dial-a-phone, etc., but Just3g are the first to give me problems. Any shared experience would be welcomed......

I've got 2 contracts with Just3G, made a court claim for the first 2 cash back claims but they paid before the claim went to court. The next 2 claims are payable within the next 3 weeks. I have emailed Just3G advising them that I won't hesitate making another court claim. Cowboys? - definately.
  • Hi, First post on this great site. I'm a few weeks from the end of my "3" 18 month contract and I came across http://www.simply3g.co.uk/index.htm
Has anyone had any problems with cashback deals, slow payments or no payments!!! There are some really good 12 month free deals, but are they "too" good to be true?

    Thanks in advance, george

  • Hi,

About to buy the Sony Ericsoon K610i in SILVER from Simply3G.

    http://www.simply3g.co.uk/handsets/three/sonyericssonk610i.htm

Seems a pretty good deal at about £10 a month after cashback I'm assuming. So is all ok to go ahead or best avoid ?

If so anyone reccomend another company, tried one stop phone shop but they don't do that phone, nor do E2Save :(

I haven't seen this company before. Has anyone used them? Are they any good?

They have lots of 12 month free line rental deals.

I recently tried to sign for a free contract phone deal on simply3g but I failed the credit check so I used another website to order the phone.

To my surprise today, when I received my credit card statement, I was being charged by simply3g for £1.99. When i sign up for the phone, there wasn't anywhere in the page that says I need to pay so I went back to check their t&c and I found this:

"All credit/debit cards used for payments and orders processed on this website, will be verified using HSBC card processing services. Where a handset is advertised as free, a charge of £1.99 will be applied for on line security verification – This is to verify you are the registered card holder, living at the address you have submitted on the application, and that the card is not stolen."

Are they allowed to do this? I wasn't even offered the contract and was outright rejected. Can they still charge me for this fee?

    Anyone can advise?

    Thanks.
