I have tidied the living room (that was tidy this morning rolleyes.gif), watered the garden, sprinkled crushed egg shells round the new plants, attempted to ice my cupcakes - but my icing was a bit soft so they look a bit melted and droopy headscratcher.gif but they are in the fridge and the icing is hardening up a little now.

So I am sat down with a glass of elderflower cordial debating whether to epilate my legs whilst OH and the boys are out.

I know what you mean... and I know there are no guarantees, but I do want to try to go into it hoping I won't be on my own. I just don't want to make a decision about who I plan to spend the rest of my life with based on the fact that I'm a bit broody right now :o because that wouldn't be fair...

My dad got me a job as an aupair one christmas holidays when I was at Uni, for a friend who had 4 and a 5th on the way. I think he hoped it would put me off for a bit ;). I still see all 5 regularly, but it certainly made me realise how much hard work it was!

    See above ;):D

Then you worked for the wrong family.. I have twice as many children as you were involved with ... and 3 have behavioural issues!!

But you hadn't actually produced them all when I was 20... otherwise I'm SURE my dad would have located you and sent me along to help you out

    Come play now... lol....

Of my 4 sisters only 1 has a child and looks unlikely to have more (I think she will have 1 more but she goes pale at the thought!) 1 is adamant she will NEVER have any, 1 will but not in the near future.. she is a nursery nurse oo which doesn't help.. and the other is far to self obsessed to allow a small person to interferere with her love of herself.

What a lovely productive day it has been, making me very glad I didn't go out on the work do last night to get hammered with the rest of them.

I have weeded the garden, planted out some more brassicas, potted up tomatoes, sunflowers, courgettes and planted out potatoes, sweetpeas and peas and swept up the mess. Put the second coat of stain on the planter and put it together.

Tomorrow will be the last lot of potatoes and some more seeds planted out and a mahoosive garden tidy up at the end. If a do a little bit each week then its ok and will get there eventually. Also ironing and kitchen clean up then all done

Have just got clean in a nice bath and scrubbed off all the woodstain!

Now relaxing before my tea with a large wineglass filled with...................................raspberry and pomegrante!

Trying to ignore all your posts about wine as I haven't had a drink for almost 3mths now!

All the baby talk isn't affecting me either luckily as I would be a single parent too and I don't feel broody currently, I think that feeling has gone now

:hello:Hi to all my flylady friends!

I've pretty much had the week off flying, except for the bare minimum. After all, it's been lovely weather for gardening! The allotment looks great, and the garden's not bad either.:D

We spent yesterday in France, a beautiful day, almost too hot - delicious lunch, wander around, and shopping. I found a leaflet about an open gardens weekend, but unfortunately, couldn't locate many of them on our map - not big enough scale to show the little villages.

I haven't done any planning for next week - sorry toots! - I just really needed a break. Rain forecast for tomorrow, so I'll plan then, if necessary just for Monday.

DD and friends have had a barbecue, and I'm dropping them into town for a party soon, then I'll clear up and collapse for a while. I need to put all my plants back in the greenhouse - they've been tucked into the shadiest spot all day.

Love and hugs to Lady-Liberty, Diva and toots.

Greenbee - not sure what sort of plants you're after, but can recommend trying The Hardy Plant Society plant sales, held all over the country. Check their website. Plants are quieter than children, and usually stay where you put them.;) (and you've met mine...)

Right I have done enough for today.

So bath time and a little box of hair colour is in order.

I'll be early in bed tonight as up at 4am, it seems rain is now forecast for about 11am in the MK area, so I might get wet, but I do need to get some of these plants sold.

OH reckons it has rained here, about 5 drops!, blink and you would miss it....

My emergency clean is going ok - just the kitchen left to do before the morning and that was the only room I was vaguely on top of.

Turkey is out defrosting, chocolate cake made. I really should have thought about what we are feeding her for the next few days though! Turkey I suspect.

Awwwwh schucks :o I try my best and have to hope it's enough.
He must have clocked from my expression that mummy was not best pleased as he covered his bum with one hand whilst he furiously got the last few paint strokes in with the other hand!!

Hi Serena :hello: sounds like you have had a lovely week :)

Been and had pizza with Mum and Dad and then went for a walk which was lovely. Still nice and warm but not too hot. Miss A took her bike and W took his scooter. They will sleep well tonight!
