Hope Greenbee isn't getting too wet on her sponsored walk for Naomi House....
Missed the rain thanks, and thank you all for your very generous donations :D

Will finish that then start making dinner, roast pork today, just wish I could make crackling like we used to have as kids (could have something to do with the quality of the pig these days )
Pork from my butcher has lovely crackling, and they tell you when you buy it what you need to do... drying it before cooking seems to be critical!

Greenbee - hope the walk went well - are you still looking for sweet peas?
Walk went well thanks - and yes I'm still looking for sweet peas - for some reason there don't seem to be any in any of the garden centres or nurserys.

Finished the walk in just under 10 hours. We had two 20 minute breaks for lunch/footcare and a couple of short loo/drink stops, so according to my pedometer it was about 8.15 of continuous walking.

I ache in places I'd forgotten existed (I expect they ached after last year's walk, and the one the year before). Hopefully I'll be able to drag myself out of bed for my sports massage appointment tomorrow morning...

I tried that today, I dried it, then salted it and rubbed it in, left half hour then wiped it off (as per Jamie's instructions) then oiled it and sprinkled with sea salt. It had started to crisp up just as the meat was ready to come out as it was only a small piece. Perhaps if I could afford to get the huge joints that dad used to buy when we were kids then we'd have crackling too :rotfl:
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

lameWolf for goodness sake woman whatever possessed you!!!! thats it you will be confined to barracks if there is any more silly notions like mowing the grass!!!!:rotfl: hope you feel better tomorrow (((hugs)))
Tbh, I wanted to see if I could still do it; has to be 3 or 4 years since I last did it. And I did wait til Mr LW was here to rescue me if I got in difficulties.:o I thought I'd be OK, as it's an electric mower, and sturdy enough for me to lean on for support, but hey, there you go. Sometimes you just have to find out the hard way.:o

Must still be a tad knocked out; tried a few light Wii exercises this evening, and nearly passed out!

Anyways, I've now had a bath and Mr LW has helped me wash my hair, and I'm sitting on the sofa in my Chinese-style dressing gown he bought me in China Seas (anyone who knows Stony Stratford will know it - lovely little shop, but a bu88er to get the wheelchair in.:rotfl:

On a different note, I do hope those of you having mega-probs with various KH's get it all sorted out. The only experience I have is when I was a kid, praying that my parents would divorce so that I never had to be alone with my father again. Never happened. They loathed each other, but Didn't Agree With Divorce Under Any Circumstances.
Anyway, that's by the by - I just wanted to send posi-vibes.:o

Just going to check out the Noo Fred, them Mr LW wants us to shoot mutants on the Wii....... *rolleyes*:D

Does anyone have any budgeting spreadsheet templates?

It seems a mammoth task to start from scratch....I dont know where to begin...

I had one that another flylady was kind enough to send me....but I lost it when my laptop crashed and was wiped by Dell....Im very skint at the minute and want to get back on track. If anyone has anything helpful/suitable, could you pm me the details?
