It's been raining here this morning too. So i've been taking the pics for ebay, must have done 50 so far. I'll start putting them into turbo lister after dinner.:D

SC on with chicken for dinner, WM on and very shortly the TD. DW has been unloaded.

    LW big hugs.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Afternoon everyone.

Nothing done yesterday as I went to the Green Festival in Newcastle. Weather was red hot I feel as if I walked for miles. Came home thought I would have a nap and woke up at 11.30pm .

Have had surreal experience. DD gave her Dad my phone number. I nearly passed out. I last spoke to him 30 years ago. Because his wife is very ill and the work I do at the hopital DD thought I could help. Really weird experience but hopefully I have given him some helpful information. Just hope he gets the support he needs.

Today Ive done dailies and kitchen as I have a busy week.

Toots. Have a lovely time at the retreat.

Hugs for everyone specially Toots, Lady L and Diva.

Well I woke up early, but then went back to sleep. So will prob feel 'wrong' all day.
MrsChaos - hope you didn't have to stay up too late (and that he was in a better mood after his night out)

Same here! Really wish I'd got up straight away and made better use of the morning. The only thing I've achieved is to upgrade my tiscali/talktalk package to include phone calls and line rental. Should at least save a bit.
DH is still sulking - only talking when necessary and spending almost all of his time upstairs. I enjoyed my evening with a couple of glasses of rose and the Kathy Reichs book I bought yesterday, though. We had a lot of rain during the night and this morning, but I can't remember thunderstorms. It seems to be dry and overcast now.

    Today I will:
speak to NN to make arrangements for DS2 for tomorrow
    plant window boxes
take card and presents to friend
    do school work
finish laundry, sort and put away
check DS1's timetable for Tuesday to see if he can look after DS2 for at least part of the day
    do tea
pack bags for tomorrow (DS2 and me)
    bath (DS2 and me)

Maybe another cuppa to get me started on a QHC, and some music. DS2 is happily watching Snowwhite.
Hope everyone's plans turn out, including BBQs.

I once took my kids to a play opub and a dad was there, clearly on an access visit, with his three kids. How I stopped myself from going to him (next table to me) and giving him a piece of my mind I will never know...

because one-by-one he had his kids at the table and INTERROGATED them as to their mother's behaviour (I think there was a mum's boyfriend too, from what was said).

The message I took from that was that he didn't give a flying fig about his beautiful children but was clearly eaten up with bitterness and rage about his ex...

That is exactly what he does to mine.. t()$$er!!

I have kept my opinion of their father from my kids. I have invited him into my home while he waits for them, and have invited him in with GF too.
And I have told him about DS's carelesness (re phones and memory sticks) so that DS can't get stuff off me then more stuff off his dad.

The worst thing exH did was to not see his kids when he was on the dole and had no money for petrol. I offered to take them over to his but he 'was not going to ask for any favours off me'...well who was being hurt? Not me - but his kids - DD especially, missed him dreadfully. DD was a daddy's girl up until then. After that she changed in her feelings towards him - so sad.

I have to take kids to see there dad as he lives just over an hour from us and he gave me the car and he pays the car tax and petrol but once he has a better job he might be able to afford a car of his own! ( having said that I dont mind as I get to spend time with a certain person that the kids dont know about yet:D)

I have one rule regarding Ex having girlfriends and that is if they last more than 6 months he can then introduce them to the kids so far they haven't met any of his so called girlfriends mind in saying that neither have his parents pmsl:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I know it sounds mean but I dont want them just meeting endless women and I do think when they see there dad he should be spending time with them they have never seen me introduce them to endless men and I dont think they should either maybe i am just to hard on him but it works lol!!

church done, nappy bucket collected and lunch eaten. Spare bedding washed and drying, yesterday's washing folded up.

Have half an eye on the cricket...Bangladesh are crumbling...my boss is Bangladeshi so shame I'm not there to tease him tomorrow! We are heading out to pick up some more salady bits to go with quiche for dinner (seems to be all we're eating at the moment!) and have a coffee/frappuchino.

Need to speak to my mum later but other than that a quiet day.
