seems quiet on here today.
Boddy that must have been weird speaking after so long. Hope all is well with you.
Managed to get the shopping done and second lot of washing dry on the line. Just about to hang the next out and heard rumbles - good job I didnt we had a downpour so I'm afraid that lot went in the dryer. Still at least now Dh wont have to cart water up the allotment tonight to fill the butts.
Still sorting and folding washing but doing it in DS' room so I can chat to him at same time, only came through to put towels away in bathroom
Will finish that then start making dinner, roast pork today, just wish I could make crackling like we used to have as kids (could have something to do with the quality of the pig these days )
Have all my work shirts and DD's school uniform to find and iron as well tonight as she (despite being asked) wont have sorted anything!Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Hi all.
Well started well on Monday but then slipped although I have been doing a fair bit a decluttering and even managed to do some of the garden yesterday before the rain came :j
Have a party to go to soon which means the children will be bouncing off the wall at bedtime so need to let them know it will bedtime soon after they get in. Fingers crossed they sleep better than they did last night!
Pigpen- You have my sympathies re KH. My KH last saw the children at the beginning of April as his girlfriend has terminal cancer. Don't get me wrong I am glad that he is there for her but really feel he should also be thinking of his children. At the moment he doesn't support them in any way.
Anyway should really go as party is going to start soon.
Impressed that today I have managed to get ALL my ironing done!. There was so much of it that I ended up having to separate it into 3 piles DD, DS and Me.
Hugs to all those that wan and need them.
Hopefully can do more next week as only have one more assignment left, the last one I got an A :j. so won't be spending all my time on coursework.January Grocery 11/3740 -

That is no excuse as to why he cannot spare a few hours for the children.. I hope they tell him to bug off when he decides he can fit them in again! It is a paint though when you really need a few hours off I know!!
Piddling with rain here... my guttering is fookled.. Must add it that to my 'to-do' list that is about 40000 miles long already!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
DD2 reduced to 'I'm going to fail Maths' state. But as she passed with a B last year I really don't give a toss! She's already got a better qualification than me (grade C Olevel 1978)........
but I can do long division;)
rain has ceased...but OH's cricket match called off which means he's under my feet!:mad: And complaining! Mind you he has 20 work shirts clean and ironed - I just can't fit them all in the wardrobe:eek:!!! In my view no man needs 20 identical work shirts and he should sort out the older ones for charity......he hasn't got around to it yet!
DDs 1&2 reunited with bits of their wardrobe they had forgotten existed:o.
It has stopped raining...but I am unwilling to put any washing out - it's still very humid with no breeze - not a good drying day.
OH away to his dads tomorrow - his dad is going into hospital for a biopsy on his lung - the question is has the asbestos he worked with done the damage or was it the 50+ years of smoking rollups?:o
Haven't told DD2 - cos of exam stress - freaking out sobbing is no way to approach her GCSE's.......and just cos we know somethings there (we found out a couple of weeks ago) doesn't make grandad any iller than he was before they told us IYSWIM!!!!!!
So I've got a week of being in my own in a double bed:D....with no snoring or getting up at 5am having been awake for an hour! And I won't have to listen to the radio all night either!
Who knows - I may even finish the ironing...and do some decluttering (what he doesn't see leave the house he won't know about....).......
collapses into wicked cackling....;):jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Is that in the morning then? I've not checked the list yet. DD1 hasn't even mentioned it.. She is really very chilled about them all.. absolutely does NOT get it from her father!!!
She really should try not to get so worked up about them.. unless she wants to do medicine (which requires an A at GSCE) noone is ever interested in your GCSE results once you get past about 21!! I don't know anyone who has been asked for their results once they did a higher course or reached 'mature' age.
Hope she is feeling better about it tomorrow like she was about the english one.. How easy did she find that exam once she stopped flapping?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
