just had a text from DS who has announced he is stopping at a mates.
I've texted him to say come home...
looks like I might have to go round ad get him - and I've had a drink so will have to walk and I am not dressed...
change of mind. Landline ophoned to check he's where he says he is..so he can stay there.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning peeps, wow first up this morning!
Had a busy day yesterday in the garden and did nothing in the house at all.- Cleared loads of junk from the garden/yard
- Washed the path/concrete outside the back door
- Broke the pressure washer
- Continued said bath with yard broom and bleach
- Completely emptied the garden shed - you couldnt get in the door
- relaid new floor in there (well put spare laminate down over the original which is begining to rot in places) I know its only a cosmetic fix but is better than it was
- dumped DH's old bike into the garage which he refuses to get rid of, so now he will have to move it everytime he wants to get his beloved motorbike out
- Reorganised contents so now DD's and HD's bikes can live in there rather than the hallway (if I can convince him!)
Right I have washing to go onto the line already so will go and do that first then breakfast and shower I think.
In the mean time Pigpen, I think Valli summed it up perfectly. As to the age of the children deciding, personally if the children have a perfectly good reason (in your book) for not going on a particular occasion I would be inclined to let them stay at home and tell KH exactly why they dont want to go. If they are not happy hearing his gripes about you and OH then I would encourage them to tell ex that they are upsetting them, even from 5 or 6 my DS used to come home and say similar things but he was encouraged to tell his dad to stop. He now has a great relationship with both of us. Of course everything would be documented for the next solicitors visit!
Hungry now
See you all later
Looks no rain for the next couple of hours anyway so washing can go outMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

morning all
a bit cooler here this morning but not much - there's not really any breeze so despite all the windows being open there's not much air circulating! Slept ok though and have had breakfast.
Will be leaving for church in just over an hour but before then will strip the spare bed and leave instructions for dh to put the wm on when he's had a shower, and I'll fold up all the dry washing from yesterday - it dried in no timeI also want to go through the freezer which I'll do tomorrow and then anything that needs chucking won't have long to sit in the bin (collection tues am).
