I have done 5 ebay listings ready for tomorrow... I have loaded both WM's
Chucked loads out of the fridge/kitchen/etc composting/recycling out
Floor in kitchen half swept.
Sorted paperwork for Mondays appointments
I have also spoken to DD1 about what SHE thinks should happen regarding access with her dad.. she doesn't want to sleep over at his.. and while she said she would go today.. she is still here... playing some game or other on the gamecube with OH.. It is so nice hearing them both laughing and being silly and generally having a good time.. even if I am being neglected lol.
Question for those who are separated from their childrens other parent..
ok so there may be more than 1.. I am compiling a list of requests.. and these are the ones I am stuck on..
1. What age are they 'old enough' to choose whether they go or not? (I was thinking maybe about 12)
2. Will the mediation/court take their wishes into account when it comes to access? (he has asked they stay over on school nights but none of them want that. They would like him to pick them up from school and bring them back at bedtime so they can go to school from here next day.. PITA for me but it is what they have asked for)
3. Can I stipulate he is NOT under any circumstances to discuss what goes on between us, or his feelings towards OH and I to the children, nor to tell them to be rude and horrible to us.. which of course gets them into trouble? I know it sounds petty but I don't slate him to them.. apart from occasionally DD1 who has very much made up her own mind about him. He is having them say horrible things I wouldn't dream of saying to them and stuff which quite frankly is totally out of order.. like I will hate them and not want them once Squeak arrives!! And they are not to do anything I or OH tell them.. which could potentially put them in danger.. crossing roads for example. And telling OH to 'get a job'.. despite the fact his woman doesn't work either!! Life isn't always that simple, is it? I am very close to saying unless he cankeep his evil mouth shut he isn't having them.
I have also just discovered the first question in the morning at his is 'Is GF coming today?' ... yes being the preferred answer because all he does is scream and shout at them until she turns up then puts on his 'telephone voice' and is all sweetness.. One of them asked if she would be as interested in him if she knew what he was really like.. says it all really
Yes I know he reads on here.. and I don't care.. I think he needs to know what they really think and if he won't listen to me, maybe he should be listening to them!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Spent the rest of the day food shopping, meal planning and doing washing. Still have a load out on the line, but my hayfever has been really bad today, so don't want to go out there and get it in, plus the bugs will all be out now.
Feeling really hot - don't know if I'm red because I'm hot, or because I'm burnt. Why is it that it's always when you're wearing a top that will give you hideous strap marks that you get burnt?
Don't know what the weather forecast is looking like here tomorrow - will have to check in a minute, but OH is out shooting all day and all evening, so will have to find something to entertain myself. May read some of my library book, which I must renew online tomorrow, as it runs out on Monday and I'll probably forget then cos I'll be working.
Glad you had a lovely week serena - sounds like you needed the break. Moon was finally able to pay the venue tonight on the phone, so I can make a start on trying to make the invitations and work out the guest list. There are certain people who I really don't want to invite (ie his brother and brother's girlfriend who are so rude about everything, and can always go one better than you), but have to because they are family!Wish I could do this:

Point taken! Seem to have lost sight of babysteps a bit there.
I am going to focus on what I did do, not what I didn't.
Today I have:
menu planned for the week
done a shopping list
grocery shopped for the week
bought a present for a friend
been for a coffee with my mum and sister
washed living room and dining room curtains
washed clothes
pegged out both washes and dried and brought in and folded
decluttered living room, hall and stairs hotspots
put floordrobe into wardrobe/wash
planted out squash
planted out carrots
watered veg and outdoor pots
watered houseplants
slug pelleted dahlias
weeded one segment of veg patch
weeded one section of flower bed
had a bbq
sneezed a lot!
showered to try to get rid of the pollen
watched 1st part of Going postal
kept up with the thread
had a large G &T made for me by OH
This is much more pleasing, seeing what I have done than what I haven't. The whole point of me joining in with this is to keep me going, and even if I only managed 1 task on Friday I need to remember it was something, and something is better than nothing. Thanks everyone:D0 -

I am still having problems with the 'large mice' visualisation thingy and now there are more:eek: and you talk and play with them:eek: toots xx
I ended up with another today too as I had to buy the 'leaving to have a baby' present for a colleague! So, if anyone can use a Boots £5 off skincare voucher, let me know.
The bus ride was lovely - a 1956 open top bus around the city then up onto the hill where we stopped for ice cream overlooking the city. Lots of waving people too!
The baby ''mice'' are growing fastlast Saturday
