I have planted out some peas and broad beans I picked up at homebase for 50p. I have also planted out some more courgettes to replace the ones chobbled away along with my ridge cucmbers and squash. I have given in and invested in a huge tub of slug pellets
Print off this pic and stick it [STRIKE]to your fridge [/STRIKE]everywhere - that'll remind you why you should NEVER HAVE CHILDREN :rotfl:

I presume the parent who took that photo did it for the insurance claim...
My ex-hubby ensured that we would never face a similar problem.
He never did any sodding decorating!
I remember when I repainted the bathroom wood pannelling a lovely shade of yellow. It was rather late by the time I had finished, so I stupidly left the can of white gloss I had been using to do the door frames, on the bathroom floor. I walked into the bathroom the next morning to find DS1 happily painting over the yellow panneling with the white gloss paint (and the floor too) He must have clocked from my expression that mummy was not best pleased as he covered his bum with one hand whilst he furiously got the last few paint strokes in with the other hand!!Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

Finalise child care arrangements for DS2 next week.
[STRIKE]Drop plant and card off for DS1's friend's mum, who looked after DS2 last Friday[/STRIKE] (and hope she'll offer to have him again next Friday - she wasn't in, so I'll have to wait until later).
[STRIKE]Buy birthday present/card for friend. [/STRIKE] Mr A/George came up trumps with fairy-type garden ornaments.
[STRIKE]Buy Kathy Reichs book from Mr A's [/STRIKE]and ask DS1 to hide it until school stuff is done - I might get to read it next year at this rate.
[STRIKE]Take frozen ground beef from Costco to MIL's [/STRIKE]
DS1 is at his friend's, revising for the Maths exam on Monday. Once I've got DH's tea ready (still sulking upstairs), I'm going out to finally plant up the playhouse window boxes. Then something with chicken for tea, bath for DS2 and school work. If I do an hour's work tonight, I'll let myself start the book afterwards.
I might also invite Mlle Rose for a visit. x0
