Ergh - why am I awake and have been since 5 am?

    Stuff flying.

    I'm going back to bed.

    Morning All

    Hope your daughter's okay mummyslittleboy.

Froddy - yes the holiday was okay thanks - it was our 10th wedding anniversary on Thursday so I've had a new wedding ring as my old one doesn't fit me anymore.:o

Soappie - I'm sure you'll get something sorted on the job front soon.

Valli - I think you need to send me a pm and fill me in with the details!

Washing is on the line and another load in the WM. Think I'm going to Mr As now before it gets busy and hot.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

No flying done yesterday because I only left work at 7pm then went out for dinner with some work friends....but I think that means I can cross one of the level ones off yesterday's list:D, ok wasn't by myself but it was relaxing.

    Other jobs for the weekend:-
    wash clothes
    water houseplants
peg out washing in the lovely sunshine
    ironing when washing is dry
    menu plan
    check freezer for bread rolls
    shopping list
    shopping
gardening sublist (I am learning...just because it's not a room doesn't mean it dosn't need breaking down)
    • attempt to rescue seedlings, which appear to have withered in yesterday's heat
    • water veg and anything else that needs it
    • declutter any slugs/snails
    • plant out squash
    • sow some carrots
    • pot on tomatoes
    • weed veg
    • weed pots
    • weed beds
    • plant hollies
    • nag OH until he cuts back clematis for me (asked him to do this on Sunday or Monday, even said he could do it after the cricket, 6.30pm after I have cleared everything away in the garden and am coming in to start dinner he appeared saying he was exhausted, but what did I want him to do, all he had done that day was go for a run for half an hour then watch cricket ALL DAY, I looked like this  only with smoke coming out of my ears!)
    • trim hedge
    • tidy hanging baskets
    • learn about my poinsettia (I have never had one before on the basis they're meant to be really difficult to keep, so assumed I would kill them, but was bought one just before xmas and it is still flowering! I am told it may need cutting back now, but need to investigate)
declutter hotspots in the rooms cleaned at the start of the week
declutter terry pratchet from sky box with sis when she comes over this evening

right that will do for now.

But if anyone has any tips about getting OH's involved I would greatly appreciate them...we did have a chat on Monday night where I said I felt like I was doing everything and he said he just liked to chill out on the weekends (I ignored the fact it was Monday) and does his jobs in the week, which I said is fine and left it at that seeing how it would go...he did nothing Tuesday because I had been home all day (except run his finger over the sideboard in the dining room and say you missed a bit:mad:), he made the dinner on Weds and Thurs and lunches for us Weds Thurs Fri, unloaded the dishwasher once and did the washing up once. I know I didn't do much more but I am prepared to clean the house on a weekend. I know I am not going to get much help this weekend because he is bgring off to clear out MiL's shed today, has been asked to be there by 10am and said he will be back about 6pm.

Sorry about that, rant over! Just needed to vent at someone and don't feel I can do it to anyone in person at the moment.

Ok, I am off for a while now, think I need breakfast if I'm going to tackle that lot!

Hope everyone has a good day and enjoys the sun

Ok valli... i get the picture... kids are probably worth giving a miss...

Greenbee - sorry, but my teens and their friends are wonderful. We had 8 of DD's friends (18, 17 and 16yos) in the garden last evening, and they were3 beautifully behaved, and said how nice my marmalade cupcakes were :)
Kids got fed up with the people at the bottom of the garden arguing whist they were out there so they started grunting very loading whilst playing badders. They have been a right pain as neighbours. This week we have had endless loud music blaring in the garden. The woman (not his wife) is a councillor too. She is now sobbing in the garden after another row (he is drunk and threatening to have her ex murdered). I'd so love to live in the middle of nowhere away from people.

    Morning all.

Weather looking good here today so loads of washing to get done.:D
Need to crack on with the lists as well.:o

Saver my hubby would be the same so i've started to do a list out for him, nothing to bad just 5 things and if he has the list he does it, i sometimes add a few more on when he's not looking.:D I think he likes crossing everything off. I now give the kids lists too.

    Now where is my list......
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

SO not helpful PenPen :p I'm trying not to let my broodiness influence my decision-making :o

Woke up early. Should have got up and done stuff in the garden really... Need to find breakfast, then go to the farm shop and garden centre. Should go into town and do some shopping, but am hoping I can put it off for another week or so...:D
