Ok valli... i get the picture... kids are probably worth giving a miss...0 -
Valli - I've saved myself loads of cash. DS1 so needs new clothes but whilst the ones he has end up on the floor I won't be buying anymore, tis a slow process
Kids got fed up with the people at the bottom of the garden arguing whist they were out there so they started grunting very loading whilst playing badders. They have been a right pain as neighbours. This week we have had endless loud music blaring in the garden. The woman (not his wife) is a councillor too. She is now sobbing in the garden after another row (he is drunk and threatening to have her ex murdered). I'd so love to live in the middle of nowhere away from people.
Wow I have stashed a lot for the car boot sale. I so hope the punters are buying. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I remember what that feels like! Many years ago, DH and I hired a van to bring all my stuff from Germany - I just assumed that it ran on Diesel, but it didn't.... Thanks to the AA we still managed to catch our ferry and the rest of the trip went well. He still remembers it, though.
Valli - I hope things calm down for you soon. Would re-reading 'the text' cheer you up?
Soappie - Keeping everything crossed for a well-paid interesting job asap, and for the tea tomorrow.
I decided to spend my 45 minutes this afternoon on one of the hotspots in the LR, and it's more than half cleared, but has generated lots of filing and things to act on.
Hair and cash decluttered, and DS2 enjoyed spending an hour with his Nan. Then tea and shopping at Mr M's. I've just got to put everything away and then I'll go to bed with a nice big mug of tea. Still don't feel great, so I won't risk wine. DH is still sulking, so I won't bother waiting up.
Good night. x0 -
Well no flying as I am at Mum and Dads but I have done 2 more reports here so feeling a bit more virtuous AND will just HAVE to go to Asda for a shopping spree (small- honest) in the clothes dept before I go home tomorrow , it will have to be small as I need the alloy on my tyre straightening as I *ahem* must have hit a pot hole and ended up with a flat tyre. No idea how much that is likely to cost me....._pale_...:eek: right off to bed
Night allGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
shush... you told toots they were big mice remember???;)
Ok, two of them can be described as big mice. The other two are not much bigger than my thumb, though, so I can hardly describe them as big anythings!:rotfl:
