Also, my job involves travel and has crap maternity benefits... (admittedly they're better than what my US colleagues get, but not as good as in my old job). So its not really practical to go it alone. Admittedly there's no guarantee that it won't end up that way anyway, but I'd like to start off thinking it won't!0 -

Morning
Havent been in for a couple of days so I have some catching up to do both flying and reading fred!
Have a brilliant day shopping in Norwich with DS, his GF and DD on Thursday made even better by the fact that DH left me some 'pocket money' :A.
Yesterday we had a really relaxed chilled out day, had lunch out by the river with a friend and neither of us were fit for anything by the time we came home!
This morning DH is at work so I was up the allotment at 730, opened the greenhouse and watered all the plants I thought needed doing.
Have since come back, washed up last nights tea things! had my breakfast and decluttered both my inboxes of excess emails.
Really need to find myself a list (back on page 22 I think) add some more too it and get on.
Hope everyone is well - I will try and catch up later but for now hope you all have a great day
Kaz xMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Still an M&D's house so no flying for me til I get home later...and then only a little bit
DD has surfaced and looks like death warmed up and is complaining of a headache... shame lol
right off to get washed and dressed
will check in later:T:TGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -

lovely day here, and I had 10 hours sleep with a few breakswent to bed at 10 whilst it was still light! starting to feel human again
Today's plan is not much, we may go to mothercare to look at a pushchair but may not be able to be bothered to get on a bus and tram (traffic down there v slow). May go out for lunch too. dh is still in bed but I predict will get up soon.
cleaned bathroom sink and shelf last night so will do bath and loo today (never thought I'd end up splitting the task!!), everywhere else is ok really though the bins need to go out (not my job).Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Morning all!
Just a quick post.
Spent most of yesterday finishing off the garage with DH. I can get my car in now - first time in four years! He has done such a fab job this week I can almost forgive him his snoring last night!
Hoping to teak oil the bench this morning & pot up some plants, then get on with the bedroom & bathroom , or I might leave them till tomorrow when it's raining.
Valli & Toots thanks for your comments re skydive! I am a mixture of excited & terrified! I agree about the hospice, they are fab people there.
better make a start!0 -

Morning all,
I haven't caught up with the thread so i hope all is well. I had a massive migrane yesterday and couldn't focus on the laptop for more than 5 mins without feeling sick. I ran out of nurofen + which didn't help so was taking cocodamol which only just about took the edge off it. It's gone now thankfully.:j
