Have you noticed how boys shout continuously once their voice breaks? I told DS1 if he didn't stop shouting I was going to break his voice some more so he would be singing sporano for the the rest of eternity!! Then DS2 started!! and no doubt DS3 will do the same in a couple of years when it is his turn.

To be quite honest it isn't the teens I seem to have problems with it is as they are coming up to being teens they are most vile. the boys are trouble and a half anyway but DD3 is an absolute witch and has been since she was about 3.. it is awful to say it but if she weren't mine I would absolutely loathe her.. she is nasty and spiteful and selfish and just not nice at all.. then she will be all charming and sweetness itself with people she has just met.. they soon wise up! If any go completely off the rails it will probably be her!!

At least once they reach 11/12 you can reason with them and they do actually understand what you are saying!! I can never understand why people try reasoning with 3 and 4 and 5 year olds.. totally idiotic.. they are not reasonable as the do not have the capacity to be rational or think through consequences... children do not realise other people feel pain the same as they do until they are about 8, so how can they understand hey are bein 'mean' to others?

Anyway, House is all peaceful his morning.. hey are at KH's until tomorrow... and I have heaps to get through!

    Morning All.
Loved reading the posts about toddlers. I can still vividly remember the twins redecorating their bedroom walls with the contents of the nappies!!
We also had no wallpaper below 2" in every room as they would strip it all off.
And there was the time they attempted to make a cake in the middle of the kitchen floor.
And locked themselves in the car and drew all over the interior with my only decent lippy.
Fridge locks, cupboard locks, loo locks, fireguards, stair gates..none of these escaped their wrath.
They once threw their duvet on the fire.
They were nickenamed the waterboys at nursery because they kept flooding the place.
(but I would do it all again :o)

Nope... they're trying to put ME off :p

Been to the post office and now have cash... been to the farm shop so have vegetables, eggs and strawberries.

Suppose I should put some washing on. Bedroom needs doing properly today, including turning the mattress, so it's ready for me when I get back tomorrow.

THEN I can go and buy plants...
