Thats not a surprise - the 3GS display was seriously low-res compared to the competition. Those of you why take the upgrade will really notice the difference - high-res screens are great!

Can't believe the tarrifs listed above though. They charge more for an iPhone tarrif than a normal tarrif AND cash up front?

Interesting article regarding O2 data caps

If the O2 issue is a problem.. vote with your feet and use another operator.

If you're going to go down the PAYG purchase route, GiffGaff do £15.00 PM freedom packs which include 300 mins, unlimited data and texts. And thats not even a contract.. They even use the same O2 network.

    Nah, surely not.

    Look at the Italian pricing....

    Current 3GS pricing 16GB/32GB

    Italy £515 £597
    UK £449 £549

Apply these supposed iPhone 4 prices and reflect them roughly to the UK (in the same way as the 3GS is now) 16GB/32GB

    Italy £456 £523
    UK £399 £475

    NAH can't be....can it?

    That screen looks fantastic!

Really looking forward to getting my first iPhone, had a iPod touch since christmas and it has made me want the iphone.

Just worried about dropping it and the glass smashing.

Does anybody know if you buy the phone without a contract can you still get insurance?

I know it's mad!! I'm on three but out of contract I called 3 on the 8th June and she told me new iphone 4g not out for 2-3 years talk about product knowledge! I explained to her the Apple annoucement so she went to look on the vodafone website as I explained you could register an interest! I also let her know the phone was called iphone 4 and not 4g!
