Lol dj... I love how apple need to "catch up" as they have a bit less memory and a few less MP ... funny isnt it
Guess they just don't get it![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

The only major advance is the higher resolution screen. That will be caught up within months IMO.
What I mean is...others can "catch up" with technology but no handset will catch up with sales and desirability!!! This iPhone will be red hot and anyone who's slaggin it are just jelly bellysHardcore moneysaver0 -

We aren't 'slaggin it' we are simply saying that it is not as good as others and i in particular am saying the OS and UI is in no way better than webOS.
A film can take billions at the box office but it doesn't mean it is anyway better than any other film, a game such as Mordern Warfare2 can out sell any other game but it is based on hype and how it is marketed which Apple do very well but they havent done that well with the ipad and the way in which the iphone is hyped and marketed reflects your fan boy approach to the iphone and other makes.
As for desirability, the iphone isn't that to all people. You have people who want it because it is expensive, those that want the latest thing and those that don't know anything else and then those that get it because it fits a purpose. The Pre Plus fits my needs and you could sit me in front of a TV screen with matchsticks under my eye lids and play repeat after repeat iphone ads and i am pretty sure i wouldnt get one.0 -

I don't believe I've slagged the iPhone. It's a good product with some nice (if not exactly ground-breaking) features. I have pointed out areas where I believe it could be much better.
However, I believe that Apple, for the second time in their history, could be about to lose a massive early market lead because of Jobs' obsession with control as I said in #480.There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

Get a grip you lot please, they are only phones, you stick it near your ear and talk, the rest is extra, example iPhone is an iPod with a phone stuck in it, HTC is a PDA with a phone stuck in it, phone are a cheap disposable item, come on we are only talking a couple of hundred quid here, I tend to change mine every 9 to 12 months which is why I have a sim only contract, thus you buy the phone you like, the one that suits you, it's hardly going to make you a social outcast if you get the wrong one, like most items in todays market whichever one you get is out of date within 4 weeks.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! Ok, what I mean to say is......just embrace and accept that this phone will be the most desirable handset on the market and if you own one it means your the mutts nuts :rotfl: If you don't own one then your just not cool :cool:Hardcore moneysaver0 -
I think it comes down to jealousy. People who have recently purchased any other handset are now kicking themselves and trying to pretend they don't really like the iPhone 4.0

If that was true, I'd either have bought a 3GS in April (which I considered and rejected) or waited for the 4 as the spec was leaked long before launch. But I guess I'm just not 'cool'. I can live with that. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
