Finally got through!!! They just had 16gb ones left which is what I wanted. I passed the credit check but then my bank rejected the payment!! I don't know why as I had about £15 more in than I needed??? Anyway I've got an order number and and I've got to phone back to complete in the morning, they better not sell it to someone else in the meantime! Anyone have any idea why my bank might have rejected it?0

Sorry if this sounds like ya boo but my mate is a manager at an O2 shop so not only did I get staff discounts but got the phones (me and the missus) for free!!'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

I didn't know you could order Iphone 4 by phone from Tesco, I thought they were only selling them in store? Is it worth phoning occasionally to check for stock updates? I haven't had an email for weeks.0

have fun in Apple stores with that0 -
Cheers Chris180682, I really want the unlocked iphone 4 handset. I guess I have to order from Apple and wait for 3 weeks:(
I don't think you'd end up waiting 3 weeks. Others on the waiting list have had their phones much quicker, but it just depends on when you order and when they get a new load of stock. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
I was waiting on the white one, but since its now looking like December at the earliest, I decided to give it up and upgrade to the black one. CPW were showing as in stock (I'm CPW O2) so I did my upgrade online and everything went through fine. Then a few hours later I got an email to say, actually they don't have any stock so will let me know in a few days. If they don't have any stock in 7 days they will cancel my order. Why let me order in the first place then? Stupid.0

FINALLY got mine after 1hr 20 mins on phone but my paymnet failed again so after phoning my bank and then another 30 mins wait on the line with Tesco I got my 16gb, should be here tomorrow! I'm a bit angry that they have done at least 3 credit checks on me though because of the payment not going through the first couple of times. Is this likely to have a big effect on my credit score? I'll be applying for a new mortgage soon and don't want something as stupid as this that wasn't my fault to count against me?0

I managed to grab a 16GB from Tesco's last night after a month or so of waiting. I've still got a couple of questions if someone could help me out as I'm a complete newbie to this sort of thing.
I've gone with £20 a month tariff - 250 minutes, unlimited texts, 1 GB mobile data and unlimited BT Openzone Wifi. Now this is where the stupid question comes in. This does mean I can make 250 minutes of free calls, text as many times as I want and use 1 GB of internet time for £20 a month doesn't it? And if I go over my 250 minutes of free calls and 1 GB of net time then I'll be charged in addition to my £20 bill?
Also with my iPhone 4 coming tomorrow I'm about to go through the process of getting my PAC Code. Can anyone see any trouble being caused by me getting my PAYG PAC Code today from Virgin Mobile and calling Tesco now to start the process of transfering my number over before I've actually got my iPhone 4 (since I already know my new mobile number which I don't want)?
Thanks, sorry about the long post too!0
