Yea my iphone 4 has been fine!! Its such hype
I tried it for a week and it's not hype, the signal loss is terrible, shame Apple are doing nothing to fix it, just masking it with a cheap bit of plastic.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0 -
I think there are certain sets that are knackered, if you get one, take it back & get it replaced.
I have the full cover pack for mine, they were pretty easy to fit, and cover all the bits that need to be covered, at 17quid a pop they want to be good. Just make sure you are in a clean environment and take your time.0 -

So to make your phone work you have to stick nasty bits of plastic all over it. I know Apple started by selling DIY computer kits where you had to build your own case, but little did we realise that Apple would still be using that same philosophy 35 years later with their mobile phones.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0 -
Erm, actually, if you read above, the phone works fine without the shield on, i got the shield to protect it from scratches.0

Same, I can make it drop one bar if I do it on purpose, but in normal use I haven't had a single problem with a complete lack of service or degradation to an unusable standard.Erm, actually, if you read above, the phone works fine without the shield on, i got the shield to protect it from scratches.
As ever, I advise people to ignore comments from those that haven't actually used one.Mac OS X0 -

But I have used one, owned it for a week and it went back because of all the dropped calls and loss of reception when touching the phone, therefore no need for him to ignore my comment.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0 -
Just tried using Skobbler Sat Nav on the iphone...truely an awful experience! It takes a ridiculously long time to calculate or recalculate a route while you are travelling...almost 5 minutes each time in my case. It take a similarly long time to get a GPS fix...I can only assume it's not using network Assisted-GPS as Google maps does as it was a bit inexplicable. The most annoying thing was that the program hasn't been updated for the multitaking OS4 yet, so if you try to do anything else, including receiving a call, the whole thing shuts down and you have to start again. Unfortunately it doesn't seem fit for purpose at the moment.Oscar_The_Grouch wrote: »Andrew, you could try Skobbler - be careful as there are 2 apps with the same name. You want the free "lite" version as the only difference is that the paid one gives you GATSO cameras.0
