can i jsut say as much as i am jealous (:P) i didnt post the link to the signal problems to just get at anyone with a phone

I think it's been helpful. I didn't realise there was an issue until then..
I'll watch Apples reaction with interest and get a fix or a refund.

Otherwise I still can't get over the quality of the screen and the processing speed! Very Good!

Ummm how many times do I have to point out, it's doing the same thing to many people on all iPhones and iPods that have upgraded to iOS4 i.e its looking like a software bug.)

iPod Touch won't be affected since they aren't a phone and don't have a phone antenna.

As a 3GS owner I'll be avoiding iPhone 4 until this situation is resolved.

My 3GS has better 3G signal since iOS4 as I got none, but the dreaded drop level happens to be o2 NOT where I place my hand on it (they are usualy in my pockets ;)), I now get full 2G with EDGE instead of a few bars/gprs, so if you are on o2 with a 3GS I advise go for it. 3 has full 3G which is one bar more than before and roaming on Orange is much improved - my Orange sim gets a worse signal on 2/3G than 3 roaming on Orange ???
If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
    If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:

Not a flaw. That feature was added to make hanging up calls easier. It's never been done before, and we think it's pretty fantastic.

  • You guys arn't going to like this, but jokes aside. Steve Jobs has issued an official statement that it's our fault for how we hold the phone if calls are dropped and signal decreases. We should, apparently hold our phone differently and accordingly....

I think it is a hardware issue and I think Apple knew about it previously.

Thus they already have a solution in place, which in turn is more money for Apple..;)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I upgraded to an Iphone 4 from a 3G yesterday with Orange, on a £35 per month tariff (saving £5 off my original tariff) and the handset cost me £29.99 Very happy with this, as includes unlimited internet access, unlimited texts, 600 mins, magic numbers etc etc.
