How do the prices for insurance from the networks compare?

I'm currently with 02 and apparently their insurance goes up to £15 when i get an iPhone... What are the prices for Orange/Voda/Three insurance please??

Why havent the BBC mentioned that ipod and 3GS owners upgrading to iOS 4.0 are bizarrely suffering the same problem???

    True.
A lot of 3gs owners who upgraded to ios 4.0 are now experiencing the problem. Gives us sufferers a glimmer of hope it may be fixed with a firmware update. We can only hope.

Panic over folks! Removing the screen protector worked a treat. I feel like an idiot now. :o

Having the same troubles with signal dropping but only when I cover the bottom left hand corner of the phone.

    Thank god for that, phew!:T

Orange quoted me £12 (double the regular Orange Care price I was paying)
Have cancelled it and upgraded my HBOS account to an Ultimate Reward Account which has mobile phone insurance (plus all of the other insurances and benefits that I didn't want/need before)

Bought a sim free phone this morning.. just phoned Orange and they have confirmed my micro sim will be with me in the next couple of days. I was put through to the 'iPhone team'. Really nice lady.

I'm on a normal [non iphone] tariff still well within my contract period.

(Going to hack my existing sim with some scissors in the mean time to have a play)

    Hope this helps

Well I just had a call back from Orange.
Against what was said earlier.. they are now trying to force me to add a £10 internet bundle before they'll send a microsim.

I already have 500MG data allowance included in my plan so I told them I didn't need it and want to risk going over my limit..

I was again told no internet bundle.. no Micro Sim..

So I told them to keep it! (from my iPhone 4 with a home made micro sim :D )

What a penny pinching, greedy, pain in the bum network. I'll be complaining..

Extensive coverage of the signal loss problems on gizmodo:

    http://gizmodo.com/5571171/iphone-4-loses-reception-when-you-hold-it-by-the-antenna-band

It's been confirmed by multiple sources - if you hold the iPhone 4 in your hand it loses signal, almost to no bars. Leading to dropped calls and huge deterioration in 3G speeds. But don't worry, apple fanboys - at least it's still sooooo shiny :rotfl:

Richard Warner, who bought his iPhone 4 on Wednesday morning, contacted BBC News, saying that he thought the phone was "useless in its current state".
"Apple have created a phone that has an antenna on the bottom left-hand side of the phone."
"This means that when you hold it in your left hand, the signal bars slowly fade until there is no signal," he wrote.
