This is my first iPhone. When I was speaking to someone on it earlier I could barely hear them talking. Is this normal? I could really only hear them properly if I had them on speakerphone!

    :o

Oh no doesn't sound good :(

I dont think I am going to be getting one any time soon until all these probs get ironed out.

    Hey everyone

I now have my iphone 4 as well but no micro sim..

Do I cut my Sim to microsim size or just wait till tomorrow and do a 40 min drive to o2?

Have there been any reported problems from cutting a micro sim out of a sim? :p

Try removing the plastic screen protector.

Anyways, I'm suffering from the signal dropping issue but only down to two bars as I'm in a good 3g area. Bumper was already ordered so I hope that helps when it eventually arrives.

I cut mine out and it works fine.

Will probably get a proper one at some point when I can be bothered.

    I used http://chris.gg/2010/06/how-to-cut-your-own-micro-sim-card-for-free-in-time-for-iphone-4-launch-day/

Just print out the PDF file, cut out the template, sellotape to your sim card and cut. Easy.

Well for a company who place their products at the higher end of the market they have made some areas of the iphone 4 not so good as other makes.

3 phones i have used today 2 suffered the drop of calls and one picked up a scratch pretty easy on the back near the camera.

The multitasking is not as good as the Palm multitasking and it does not seem any better in the way of OS or UI but the hardware is very very good apart from the call dropping issue.

Its not that great that i would pay for one though. With Apple trying to claim they have invented the video call method, 5mp and front facing camera as well as multitasking they have fallen short.

Tissues ample lmao? Although you would need them for crying this time, crying cause you aint got this amazing phone.

Panic over folks! Removing the screen protector worked a treat. I feel like an idiot now. :o

Having the same troubles with signal dropping but only when I cover the bottom left hand corner of the phone.
