Hey people. At Alton Towers yesterday and today (trying to make time go faster rather than sitting at home waiting lmao) My unit has shipped too, wahooo!!! UPS, delivers 24th, can't wait. The Engadget review of iPhone 4 is the mutts nuts! The best phone in the world right now! Hahahaha to all the doubters and Android fan girls
back later tonight x
Doubters of what?
Looks a lovely phone and I am sure you will enjoy it.
Not the phone for me, although there will be two new iphones in the household within the week.0 -
Surely people are not that stupid/desperate/sad to do this - really????
There are people with money who just have to have it. There are a lot of countries who won't be getting the iPhone 4 until the summer so that opens up the market somewhat.
I suspect some of these listings will fall through or they'll be some element of fraud (which won't be discovered until later down the line). That'll be a big hit to swallow.0 -
oh well so only 24 hours till you all get your phone
im sure it will be worth all the hassle just dont rub it in to the res of us tooo much lolWhat goes around-comes around0 -
The Carphone Warehouse has only received 16,000 handsets according to MacWorld. Far less than the 60,000 they ordered.
That's probably 16,000 for the entire group (which includes all their call centres, online retail brands as well as their stores). They've already said that many stores won't be receiving any stock - with over 800 stores, that would have been less than 20 per store if they had divided equally amongst the stores only.
Not looking good...0 -
Are retail stores such as O2, CPW, P4U offering the PAYG or any sim free handsets tomorrow, or will it be contract phones only?0

Hi Jack.
O2 are offering handsets on contract only and only to existing O2 customers.
CPW have received about a quarter of the handsets they asked for, so you will be lucky if they have anything in your local shop and if you do, it will be contract.
P4U will be in the same boat as CPW.
Apple have had so many pre-orders that they are now not offering handsets before mid July.
In other words:
1. Where have you been for the last month?
2. If you've not pre-ordered it, you're stuffed. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -

Well following the optmistic text from 3 saying they had reserved an iphone 4 from me the upgrades department called me yesterday, at first I was excited thinking they were actually going through with it (more fool me!) but he went on to say they could offer me a number of new phones and I said no I want an iphone 4 so he said he could do me a deal with an iphone 3GS!- So much for having reserved me an iphone 4 I would have thought upgrades would have know about it!0
