iPhone '4' thread

Went into 02 shop today, had a few questions about buying iphone, the salesman said that 02 will buy my old iphone off me when I buy my new one, I think he said £150, not bad I thought - has anyone else heard this?

I'm on Vodafone at the minute (not iPhone) and can't wait to change network. Their signal here is terrible. I'm definitely going back to O2.

Is there any word yet when they expect the white iphone 4 to be available. Hubby is getting an iphone as well, so I thought I would go for the white so we could see the difference straight away but I am impatient and want one on Thursday.

I sold my 16GB 3GS on eBay for £300!!

Just a question about downloading applications on the iphone! To combat the data limit is it better to download these app's on itunes then transfer it to the phone??

Or is it minimal that i will not notice?

Theres a phones4u and 2 carphonewarehouse's in the centre, and another carphonewarehouse on the retail park nearby too wonder if i should try those, as i think i can buy out my o2 contract there too! but prefer direct with o2

How early are people going to O2 shops to queue up? I was thinking 7am, I know they are limiting them to 1 phone per customer

As I understand it apps tend to be smallish 10mb or less, so it won't use up too much of your allowance. However unless it's an app that you need there and then when there isn't wifi then it's probably worth getting them without using your 3g allowance.
