Just had a text from 3 saying I am eligable for an iphone upgrade and they have already reserved one for me!:beer:War does not determine who is right - only who is left.0

I'm currently with 3. My contract runs out on 2nd August, so I'm in the 'upgrade' window. I've registered my interest on the 3 site. I've just had a text message through which says:
Your iPhone 4: Coming soon
Following your interest in iPhone 4, we're pleased to tell you that you'll get one as an upgrade.
You've probably heard that the phone is in huge demand. So to make sure you're one of the first to get the iPhone 4 on Three, we've reserved one specifically for you.
And we'll be in contact in the next few days to confirm so you don't have to worry about calling us in the meantime.
Terms apply.
Interesting! I await prices etc, but if it will only be on a 24 months contract I might go elsewhere, like say vodafone for a 18 month contract...0 -

Thanks!!
My friend has an iPhone on Vodafone. He's says he has major reception problems with his iPhone 3GS in areas he used to have no problems with his previous phone. I always thought Vodafone were good - he's only 6 months into an 18 month contract so would be keen to know if this is a fault more widespread.
Generally though, reception can vary from area to area. You'll get some people saying that a network is fantastic and others saying the same network is awful. Guess you'll need to ask people in the area that you live/work for specific user experience. You can always check the networks website for coverage. If it says fine and it's not, then you might have some leverage.0 -

I've got both the 3GS and Desire on Vodafone. When side by side, using the field mode on the iPhone and the About>Network screen on the Desire, the HTC always seems to be a few dBm lower (stronger signal)0 -
How do people find 3? I am seriously considering going with them for the iPhone 4 but heard some shocking reviews about the network and signal strength. They were even on Watchdog! But I suppose consumers complain about every network and I keep thinking they can't be that bad, can they?0

I can get a 3G signal where my work Blackberry on O2 struggles to even get GPRS0
