Just had the brainwave that NHSDISCOUNTS.COM offer 17% discount on Apple products to NHS staff (which I am). I've just logged and gone through the process but it is still showing as £499 when I get to to the card details part. Really can't afford to buy it just yet so don't want to risk it.
anyone know if you can get NHS Discount on the iphone4?0 -

I doubt you'll get a discount on the iPhone or iPad as even Apple employees don't get a discount on them. I have a good friend who's a manager at Apple and he can get a discount on everything apart from the iPhone and iPad.0 -
Well my iPhone 3G 8gb is up for sale!
A week today I hope to be in posession of the new one0 -
Well, I think my 32GB iPhone 4 is up for sale ... wow £1100!0
-
So it doesn't look like I'll be able to buy the iphone4 on PAYG any time soon, lack of NHS discount isn;t surprising.
Funds are not permitting as previously thought, so.....
do I
a) order the £20 12 month simplicity sim now and use it in my current carp Sony Ericcson phone (will have to get it unlocked as I'm currently on orange), then hope I can get the iphone4 on PAYG asap (scrimp and save, sell everything I own on ebay)
or
b) bite the bullet and upgrade with orange to the £35, 24 month contract, phone cost £119, which I can afford next week.
I'm really not too bothered about getting the phone straightaway as I still reckon I'll get it before anyone else I know but do I risk/have the hassle of switching to a cheaper tariff, different network etc when there may still be a chance I won't be able to afford a PAYG model this side of xmas?
Ooh, what to do.....?0 -
i believe there is a new one coming out with a webcam next month. what recommendations does anyone have for one? thanks in advance. and also any rates. thanks in advance for any tips.0

Using the details above over 24 months it works out £20 cheaper by contract. Only drawback is the long contract.0 -
I would go for the contract, the phone isn't going to outdate too much in the next 24 months.0
