I think the 2nd July date is for orders made as of now.
I assumed orders made earlier are still scheduled for the 24th June.

Regretting not ordering yesterday as it needed no payment as far as I could see?

I just didnt want to take a slot when I wasnt sure. wish I had now!:( Wonder how many kids reserved one and have taken up a reservation. Would they release these the next day anyone know? So people like me can buy it:D

USA have earlier had the new pre-order date pushed back to July 14th. Expect the same here soon

Yes, any pre-orders that aren't picked up will go on general sale the next day
