By the way PAYG is O2 and Orange only. Iphone 4's from Apple are Sim free but obviously the £499/£599 prices reflect this

Ah but do they?
I reckon O2/orange will have same prices but will throw in 1 year's 3g/wifi for free like they did with previous iphones

Ive to tried to pre-order the phone on upgrades with 3. They keep saying phone back on the 24th. If i do that there all gona sell out?

no when you go through the pre order / reserve and collect process you get a choice of sim free, o2 payg or orange payg - all at the same price

You have to choose to progress, but it did say you can change your mind on 24th in store.

i thought best to pre order for collection and watch what happens in meantime - i would imagine PAYG prices will come out before 24th and be a bit lower, but at least i know i have one on release day by reserving

My last email from Orange said they'd be emailing me TODAY to tell me how to reserve one (I assume I'll get prices too)..........still........waiting.........for..............email........
