    Are the O2 PAYG ones cheaper through Apple?

    When you reserve for store pick up it just gives you an option for o2 PAYG or orange PAYG but doesn't mention that prices are different. In fact, it doesn't mention prices at all- not in the early stages of resrvation anyway (i didn't complete the reservation)

    no when you go through the pre order / reserve and collect process you get a choice of sim free, o2 payg or orange payg - all at the same price

    You have to choose to progress, but it did say you can change your mind on 24th in store.

    i thought best to pre order for collection and watch what happens in meantime - i would imagine PAYG prices will come out before 24th and be a bit lower, but at least i know i have one on release day by reserving

    i used this link;

    http://reserve.apple.com/WebObjects/ProductReservation.woa/wa/reserveProduct?lang=en&country=GB&prelaunch=MC603B_A

    ah i see

    bit pointless though buying one thats locked in when the sim free is the same price?

    but if and when o2 or orange release payg prices, then apple will surely honour these in store on the 24th?

    best to choose sim free now and see what happens

    PAYG are still slightly subsidised by the network and will be locked, the Apple sim free they are selling is completely unlocked, hence the price difference

    I've just been looking for news on some networks. I can't find anywhere that says the networks will be releasing it for pre-order on the 15th. Was it just Apple that said that? Maybe we won't see anymore info today.

    I have just ordered a 32 GB phone on sim free from Apple, so they still have stock for 24th June release.

    Question, do I still have the 14days to cancel the order. Just in case the network providers come out with an amzing offer nearer the time.

    I'm surprised and disappointed that none of the networks have announced when they will be releasing price information. Fair enough that they either haven't made up their minds, they want to see what the other networks do or they are still negotiating with Apple but at least let us know when they plan to release the information.

    O2 said last week in few days but it seems Guru James has gone walk about. All the other networks have remained deathly silent on the matter.
