Hi everyone!

Firstly wow @ how close we are to each other! A leeds DFW meet is defo in order but i dont think my £16 CCCS enternatiment spend allowance streches that far lol!

Ok so now to the juciy bit. I had a really nice chat with a lady called Joanne at CCCS. She talked me through my options and we agreed a DMP would be the best thing for me right now. We went through the budget and made some slight adjustments. Joanne said she was very suprised at how much i had learnt and prepared for the appointment. I mentioned you guys and she said ''They will have you debt free for life that lot!'' She was ALSO a Leeds lass aswell lol! CCCS are apparently based in Leeds?!?! Who knew?!?! lol

So i am on a DMP for the next 10 years & 10 months @ £156 p/m. I talked to OH and he is going to help more with food etc thats why repayment is higher! I have 19 creditors! NINETEEN!

Once im back on track with council tax that figure should increase to £270ish and that will shave four years of my DMP prison sentance!

Im trying not to think of it as hard punishment or a prison sentance and more of reality. This is how i should have been from day one! We live & learn dont we!

Love you lots jelly tots! Thanks for everything! I wouldnt be this far without you! Glass of vino blanco to celebrate my LBM is in order i think!

Please stick with the Forum as help will be on the way soon dear, I'm going BR tomorrow after 3 yrs in a DMP and it took a long time for me to find the right option for me but everyone on here helped and supported me.

Keep posting. Ask anything, as i did and help will come.

Why would you agree to such nonsense? 10yrs? Sod that! Have you considered unenforceability? You should not be entering into a DMP for 10 years - not at the amount quoted, but then I don't rate CCCS so maybe that's why i'll say that!

I still have not received an email, if it was advice related regards to UE then maybe now is the time to consider dealing with it before you sign your life away - 10 years? My god!! You'd be better going BR surely? And I never suggest that to anybody but why pay for 10+ years?

For instance Ann over here - Frightened about my future - part 2. had £150k and 18 accounts, and now she is sitting pretty almost debt free (i.e. 13 unenforceable right now) - so its up to you but I know one thing, i'd tell CCCS to go and swim with sharks if they hit me with such nonsense!!!
