Mobiles.co.uk is a stupid company. I've got all the stupid emails from them. I will probably put these emails on internet to let the public see what they have been doing. If you are looking for a good deal, I think probably it is better walk into a shop and pick a deal there. At least you can talk to them face-to-face and push them to stick to the deal they promise.Hi. That seems like a lot of good advice there. Can you please keep us updated as I intend to purchase a telephone from this place shorlty. I was attracted to it by their cash back incentive.0

I'm still hoping to get the first cashback claim. If I don't get anything from them, it means they play dirty game. Then I will do the same to them. The cashback is about 90 pound. If I do decide to go with dirty game, I may have to spend some money, say about 200 pound, but the damage this could bring to them would be much much bigger than that. I always start with sticking to the rules and being a good guy, but the reality is there are so many rubbish companies and rubbish people in this world.
How many cashbacks were there?
Was the first one ever approved. If not why not?0 -

OMG. I can't thank you enough. I didn't do that much research. Just they were by far the cheapest and as they were a branch of Carphone Warehouse, I felt nothing but SAFE with them. I am away to find a new deal somewhere else now. Thank you again.:)0 -

There are 3 of them. I sent all documents for the 1st cashback claim and they approved it. But they never actually sent the cashback out.
That seemed to be the case from your first post that cashback was approved. I was just wondering.
I suppose they might have some excuse but just go down the formal route now and fire off a signed for letter giving 14 days intention to go to small claims. The cost of small claims, well its up to them - if you are in the right I would think you would be compensated for any such cost.
And also speak to trading standards and fire off an email to their CEO as suggested before.
You should have a valid claim for compensation on top of the cashback.0 -
You don't get "compensation"; merely court fees and interest once the claim has commenced and direct but limited expenses.0

Compensation from CPW as this will more than likely not reach a court!0 -
Whilst it isn't likely to reach court, the thought of cpw paying compensation really is laughable!0
