  • Another ten days have passed.

    I still have received nothing.

    "Soon" means nothing.

    Sir Terry Leahy please note.
    You are in charge.
You take home the huge pay-packet.
    You simply ignore your customers........

    This is disgusting.

All I want is MY money back that you agree is MINE, which YOU still have.

    Is this too much?
  • Another five days and still nothing from this company.

They have had my money for months.
They do not deny that it is my money.
    They promise.....

They do not tell the truth.
  • Another three days.

    Nothing from TESCO.

Otelo is now across this situation.

    Stay tuned everybody.
  • Another seven days have passed.

    Nothing from TESCO.

    Absolutely nothing.

Otelo are now across this and documentation has been passed to them.

All I want is my money back- my money! I am not even talking about a huge quantity. If I had bought three boxes of TESCO biscuits from a store and they were faulty, I'd get a refund, there and then (I presume).
Their telephone system is faulty (it doesn't work). So.....

The amount I am talking about is less than the tea / coffee budget for one office meeting which they'd pay out of "petty cash".

They simply do NOT care about customer relations. If they did, I would have had my refund SIX months ago, PLUS a refund for the equipment I bought in good faith.
  • Here we are in October and I still have nothing from TESCO.

Have they arranged for a personal delivery?
Have they arranged for Mr. Leheay to be fired? (Oh, sorry, you cant do that).

    Perhaps someone should be fired.

I am waiting for Otelo to deal with it.

I know! TESCO will have a special Christmas gift for me! :rudolf:

    MY MONEY BACK!!!

Fellow readers, rest assured I will not give up until I GET MY MONEY BACK!!!!

I have to say I admire your staying power (I'd have shrugged my shoulders, vowed never to shop in Tesco again and moved on by now).

Just out of interest, what sort of money are we talking about here?
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
  • Greetings and thanks for your support!

    Actually we live abroad.

Thousands of miles from a TESCO store.

That, however, is not the point, is it?

They owe me about 15 sterling. more or less.
PLUS the 38 sterling of the cost of the equipment that we bought in order to use their facility, which they turned off.

Even then, the fact that they have admitted, six months ago, that they owe me money, means I am NOT prepared to let it go. I am retired, my broadband is 'all-inclusive', I love my iMac computer, I look after a few web-sites, so fighting the pathetic bureaucracy of Mr Leahy (Sir?? give me strength- who was bribed to offer that?)... means that I intend to make life as difficult, as expensive, as tedious as possible for a company, that if YOU owed THEM a tenner, would not let you off with an "OK, never mind, you can have that pack of Baked Beans without paying".

Rubbish, what's mine is mine. What's theirs is rightfully theirs.

They admit they owed me money six months ago!
    They don't deny it.
So I sit here and enjoy the fight. Otelo is involved, and from now, I intend to make it as messy and bloody as possible.

Petty? Yes, of course, but I ask again, if the shoe was on the other foot, they would demand THEIR money? Shoplifting they (rightfully) don't tolerate. What they have done to me is theft, and I intend to make life as rubbish as possible. What have I got to loose?

    Finally.

    To summarise:-

    They sold the equipment.
    They switched it off.
    They have my credit.
They admit they owe me money.
They have done nothing but prevaricate for over HALF A YEAR.

    What would you do?

If you owe them, they want their money. Rightfully so.

    They owe me.
  • Tesco do not have a clue what they are doing, They owned me £10. I was sent a £15 money card which I refused and demanded a cheque which they did not send, Tesco customer services then paid £30 direct into my bank and said I could keep the £15 money card, two weeks later got a cheque in the post for £20 so got a total of £65 back. This took 3 months and 20 emails.
Hope you do better and Otelo have them up in court.
I did write to BBC Watchdog programme but they did not respond it would seem they are more interested in complaining to Tesco about the strength of the carrier bags instead of something that Tesco should be pulled over the coals for.
Good luck keep up the posts
  • Thanks, Paul!

I, too, have contacted "Watchdog". (Today).

I have yet to hear back from them.

I have always been polite, but firm, with the various "TESCOmemoney" departments who have bothered to reply to me.

What's theirs, is theirs. Fair enough.
    What's mine should be MINE.
