Hi El,
Sorry I haven't posted on your diary much lately, I've still been here just been reading what's been going on for you lately.
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time, no advice I'm afraid, but getting it all out should help you a little :grouphug:
Thinking of you.

This is agony for you too, El .... the treadmill sounds like a really good idea.
What buying the treadmill says to me is that you're not prepared to go down with him. Its incredibly sad, the whole situation, but you're right that it would do no good for you to sacrifice yourself.....

a strange thing happened through the night last night i wasnt going to say anything ... mainly because i dont know how i feel about it all myself .... or even if it is worth feeling something about
hubby had a good drink three super and two ordinary proving that no he is NOT in control of his drinking (like any of us including me thought he was eh) and we had a bit of an arguement about something .... not very interesting but if you want me to i will share ....
anyway we fell asleep and was sound asleep when at 4 am i heard a loud bang ... i thought i had dreamt it so didnt think too much about it till iheard hubby say what was that ? to which i replied i dont know better turn the light on and we will chack what it is ... so we turned the light on and i noticed that our wedding picture had the string snapped on it and it had crashed down to the ground .... now we have had that picutre in that frame for 20 years ... and never had an issue with it ever ....
hubby seems to think it was someone giving us the message that our marriage is falling but not broke yet (the only damage was the string) and that we need to get it fixed and make it stronger than ever ... i am not too sure tbh ... it could easily be the string has broken after hey well really nearly 21 years ...
i dont think it is a highly interesting story in anyway but thought i would share it ... it was certainly strange0 -

do you know what hurts? what really really hurts ...
watching your best friend, the person you love and want to spend the rest of your life with kill themself and knowing there is nothing nothing at all that you can do to stop it.... watching your marriage slowly die but finding yourself unwilling to give up until you can be able to say to yourself well i know i did my best ... i know there was nothing more i could do....
almost finding yourself wishing you believed in god so that you could pray for a miracle cause it looks like nothing else will cut it ... seeing a glimpse of the future for the man you love ... knowing he will loose everything EVERYTHING that means something to him ... to be replaced with drinking buddies and living in squalor till he gets sooooo ill he gets taken into hopsital where he will slowly die an agonising death ....
that really really hurts
Big hugs to you. I don't know what to say.

Me neither - I have no experience of this so no real knowledge of what things are really like for either you or for him.
What I will say is look after you. I care about you and know that you deserve better than what is currently happening to you xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
