Morning Diary
Not much to report today, it's a week and 2 days til payday and we have just about enough food in the freezer and petrol in the car to see us through. Possibly supposed to be going out on Saturday for a friend's birthday, but may have to beg off as we're going up to Stafford for my Uncle's party on Sunday. Not sure what the plan is yet though, so if it sounds cheap we may go
Back to the GPs tomorrow about my back, it's no better and I'm getting really fed up of it now. Am going to ask for a referral to see someone about it, but not sure whether to ask to be referred to a physio or an osteopath. Anyone got any experience or recommendations on the subject? I've never had either treatment so not sure which way to go! Have had several people rave about osteopaths, but other's saying they do more harm than good and physio is the way to go?Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Good on you for going back to the docs, I have never seen a physio or Osteopath I'm afraid so not sure which would be better! An old friend of mine swore blind that her Osteopathy sorted her back right out but I am sure what works for some wont work for others.
Fingers crossed that whoever you see can make it better.

I saw a physio for a bad knee, but really didn't feel like I was getting anything from the appointments. Of course it's different for everyone and will also depend on the person treating you.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

:(Afternoon Diary
GP this morning, have been referred to a physio to sort out my back. It's very sore now as the doctor gave it a good prodding, but she's still convinced it's muscular and there's no damage to nerves etc.
So glad I have the work BUPA cover, as there's a 5-6week wait for NHS treatment  I will have to pay the £75 excess, but I'd rather get this sorted out, I don't want to still be struggling on at Christmas. DH did something to his back yesterday, so we were a very pathetic pair last night
not much else to report, am trying to transfer our gas and electric to a cheaper tariff with our supplier, but the website was a bit complicated so I'm not sure if I did it rightwill pay the outstanding balances from the old tariff on payday, and DD set up to start the next month.

Not sure exactly, I'm hoping they'll call with an appointment next week. Got to be quicker than the 5 weeks + on the nhs.
Can't come too soon tbh, I'm not sleeping well and feeling completely knackered.makes it very hard to do much in the evenings, definitely lacking in inspiration for dinners etc.

I popped a disc in my back a few years ago (when sneezing if you can believe it!)
Couldn't walk for a few days and it was still so painful after - I found yoga poses that stretch your back out were really helpful, so long as you make sure that you do them very gently.
Hope you get some sleep soon, bad backs are a nightmare, they feel like they take over everythig you do
