Removal men are amazing! This has been our least stressful move ever, everything in the new house by 2pm! we were sat out in the garden with a beer by 6pm!

Tackling the unpacking a room at a time, kitchen nearly done, but need to start in the bedroom this afternoon, as the bed is arriving tomorrow morning, and currently everything is stacked up in there waiting to be unpacked so there's no floor space!

Just on our way back to clean the flat and drop the keys off.

Hope cleaning the old place isn't too time consuming...you have unpacking to do!

I'm back! Back to work that is
No phone line at the new house (BT coming out today to install one) and terrible mobile signal, so haven't been able to get online except for a quick check of emails since we moved. Will pop back at lunchtime for a longer update, but we're all settled in, and I love love love the new house :j

Gah! Spent whole lunchbreak sorting out bills and change of address etc, so no chance to catch up on anyone's diaries. Will try and post longer tomorrow, including a financial update *gulp* it's expensive this moving business, especially as when we moved in we discovered that the previous tennants had taken the shed (and the gas fire from the fireplace!) Good thing homebase and focus both had sale weekends last week :rotfl:
anyway, all moved and settled in, had a lovely housewarming party on Saturday, and back to work today. Spent all morning clearing my inbox and catching up with work done on my studies while I was away, and now I can get on with something useful :rotfl:

Isn't it just.....I reckon I could have cleared half my debts the amount i've spent since 4th August on this house!!! :rotfl:.....maybe not but it feels like it! Doesn't matter how cheaply you try and do it, there is always something.
