It sounds like you had a lovely relaxing weekend, isn't it depressing that there isn't another BH until December!
Did you manage to get any pre move sorting done? We haven't been out for a lunch time walk for ages, must get back into a routine soon and try and get a few miles in a week!

Sadly absolutely NO pre-move sorting done yet  We're away the next 2 weekends as well, so will have to start tackling it in the evenings, as the only weekend left after that is the one before we move!! It woudln't be the end of the world if we didn't get the sorting done before we move though, as we had a major clear out before our last move, and that was only a year ago!
Forgot to say that I weighed in on Saturday, 14st 8.5lb, so weightloss = 4.5/42lbs.
Trekked all the way to the next town at lunch yesterday (our site is in a tiny village) to take proof of address into NW so hoping to receive my new CC next week. Fingers crossed there aren't any more hold ups :mad:Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Have just signed up for the no buying lunches challenge, I've been terrible the last few months, and it's such a waste of money
Anyone want to join me?
Have pledged 10 out of 13 lunches brought in before I go on hols, and brought lunch today, so 1/13 already :jLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Well I remembered my lunch this morning, which is a bit of an achievement in itself :j 2/13 lunches brought from home. DH forgot his though, even though I made it last night, and got it out of the fridge for him this morning *rolls eyes*
I got stuck in a timewarp this morning though, at 655 I thought, I'll just hang up the laundry before I go (at 7), and I was still doing it at 715! I think i was just staring at it in a daze, there wasn't enough washing for it to take that long, only a few t shirts and some underwear! :rotfl:
Roll on moving day, I can't wait until I don't have to get up at 630 anymore.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Afternoon Diary
So glad it's nearly hometime, looking forward to a nice dinner and some wine tonight! It's been a long week, even though it's shorter than normal.
Lunch from home again today, so 3/13 :j
Off sailing with FIL for the weekend tomorrow morning, but we need to nip into town first to get the last bit of DH's stepsisters birthday pressie (student cookbook to go with Wok & spatula!) and some new shoes for me. Have had to dig out my old converses (which the shoes which broke last week replaced!) as none of my other shoes let me wear socks, and my feet were stinkingThey're well tatty though, so on a mission to get something else to wear tomorrow.
Apart from the petrol to the south coast, should be quite MSE as FIL normally pays for everything. Fingers crossed for good weather, as I'm a terrible sailor and will be horrifically sick if it isn't:rotfl:Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Happy Monday Diary!
We had a lovely weekend sailing, although the weather wasn't as good as we hoped, and I was horrifically sick on the Sunday. We'd only got as far as Cowes, and only had one sail upWe were supposed to be going up to Newtown Creek, where there's a lovely pub for lunch, but FIL decided that I wasn't going to be able to cope, as it was cold and rainy, and the wind was picking up, so we turned around and went back to Hamble. Felt a bit grim for the rest of the day, and of course the sun came out as soon as we got back to our pontoon!
On the plus side it was a very MSE weekend, as I only bought things I'd planned to get when we nipped to the shops including some black ankle boots, that I managed to get £10 off as they'd labelled them with the wrong price :j and some new converses. Those should see me through the winter, and I'm really pleased with the boots, they're Rocket Dog ones, and they're super comfy. We got a lift down with FIL as well so didn't have to get any petrol.
DH's stepsister loved her pressies, and she's coming over tonight for a cooking lesson - pasta sauce and homemade pizzasShe's off to uni in 2 weeks and she's a bit apprehensive so planning to have a good old chat about what to expect etc. Hopefully we can set her mind at rest about a few things. I'm quite jealous, I'd LOVE to be going off to uni for the first time again, good times
Back to work today, only 2 weeks left before we move. Still haven't managed to do any of the tidying/sorting that I really want to get done before we start to pack, and we're away this weekend as well  Off to visit best friend from uni in her new house, which looks amazing. Sadly they were previously living in the town we're about to move to, and now live in Macclesfield. Would have been nice to live closer to them again, so we could meet up for a cheeky pint  only a couple of hours drive though, so better than when they were planning to move to Northumberland!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Good afternoon Jules!
I could have sworn I posted on your diary recently *insert confused face*, sorry for being absent for so long! I have had to stop posting on new diaries as I am finding it hard to keep up with the ones already in my subscribed list :rotfl:
Good to hear you had a lovely weekend (apart from the sickeness!), the winter shoe purchases sound great, I will definately have to think about buying some soon, I used my Timberland boots last year which were great and practical but not very smart to wear to work.
How did the cooking lesson go? I almost wished I had gone to Uni for the experience of it all but in hindsight it's not done me any harm by not going! Is it this week you are moving? If so, best of luck, it's come round so quickly!

Morning Diary
Not such a good couple of days, woke up with pain in my lower back yesterday, only lasted til 11 at work before coming home. Still bad today so stayed home. Ibuprofen takes the edge off, but it's still sore.
Moving day 2 weeks today, getting v excited!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Bleugh! Back started to ease up yesterday afternoon, but my throat suddenly got very dry and tickly in the evening. Woke up this morning with a stinking cold and have now developed a hacking cough. I feel totally grim, have had to cancel weekend away at friends, as I'm getting steadily worse, and to top it all off, I'm still at work almost an hour after I wanted to leave, and carshare has gone AWOL  She's so bl**dy inconsiderate, she knows I'm not well and we discussed this morning that we would leave at 430.
I just want to be at home in my bedLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Well I was especially grumpy yesterday wasn't I? :rotfl:Oh dear! I did feel pretty grotty though, and not much better today, but no carshare, so in a better mood all round. Only a week left at work before the move, so max 3 more days of putting up with her lateness, rudeness and appalling driving. :j
Also posted similar message as Facebook status, bemoaning my week of woes, and now being inundated with messages from rellies and friends to see if i'm ok, so have had to post a comment stating that I'm fine, and was being overdramatic due to lack of paracetamols at work!
Well, not much else to report, weekend away still cancelled, as I've got a revolting hacking cough, so don't want to go up north and infect friends! We'll have to rearrange for after we move, but I was looking forward to it so much that I'm really disappointed. Intending to spend the weekend resting, and having a good tidy up and sort out in the flat, in preparation for starting to pack next weekend
After almost FOUR years, I've finally reached payout on YouGov, so have requested my £50 cheque :T Will use it to buy us a BBQ for our new garden. I'm not sure that I'll carry on with YouGov though, their surveys are so irregular, and often very repetative. Simlary story with Valued Opinions and GlobalTestMarket for me, I always get screened out of the surveys, and often after answering questions for 5 mins and thinking I'd qualified for the survey
Think I'll stick with lightspeed and toluna for a while, for the quicker payouts.
What's everyone else up to at the weekend? I have to weigh in tomorrow, and dreading it, didn't weigh myself last weekend and been eating junk all week to console myself for feeling ill and obviously no exercseHopefully it won't be too dire.
