Thanks Jody :) I was pleased with the £100 reduction, given that we did have an expensive month, with an unexpected trip to the garage for DH's car. It developed a glitch in the dashboard electronics and would suddenly lose power (and therefore power steering) while driving along. a necessary £175 spend there!

I'm looking forward to the house viewings on Saturday, 2 of them have locations on my favourites list, but the agent they're with only puts an outside photo on rightmove, so no idea what they're like inside.

DH applied for a 0% Egg card last night and was accepted! That combined with his empty RBS card (which have promised some sort of 0% offer in August when he spoke to them) should let us move all our debt that's on 20% plus to lower rates by september. :j thank goodness, I'm getting fed up of paying a £90 minimum payment and being charged 80 interest on my BC (which isn't even the highest interest rate, so isn't top snowball priority!)
Hopefully by the time the 0% deal ends, I'll be able to get a 0% card so we can move it again.

The 0% card is great news, I expect that will bring your DFD down quite a bit due to paying less interest!

It annoys me when letting agents don't take any pics of the inside or room measurements, I would like to know what I am going to see or it could be a waste of time! Fingers crossed that they are what you are looking for :D

I totally forgot to weigh myself on Tuesday but did it today *drum roll*..... I weigh 196.2 lb's :o:eek::o:eek::o. I think the lowest weight I have ever been since having my daughter was 11 st 11 lbs and the lowest recorded on my weight spreadsheet is 174.4 in June 08 ( almost 12 and a half) so I have put on a fair bit in two years!!! Still ok for me to join you in the weightloss? What day do you plan to weigh in and I'll set a reminder! Think my first target is to get to twelve stone - 168 lbs so need to lose 28lbs - eek!

    Hi Jody
I have to confess I weigh myself every morning, I know I shouldn't but I have for years! I count my weight on Saturday as the recorded one though. You're welcome to join me, my first target is to get under 12 stones too, which will make me nearly in the OK range for my height, and then I'll see how I feel about what size I am. The last time I was under 12 stones, I think I was about 15

Not feeling hopeful for any weightloss this week, not been too bad with food (apart from a cheeky payday chinese on wednesday), but no running either, with my dodgy foot. Don't think I'll have put any back on though, so that's always a bonus.

I think I will try not to do a daily weigh as I might get disheartened! I will do my weigh in on a Friday then. Planning three walks next week so might lose a lb or 2! :T

As expected, no weightloss this week, but no gain either :j
Managed to get out for a short run yesterday and foot seems fine, so fingers crossed for the 10k tomorrow. Heading up to Bedford soon for house viewings and the shopping and dinner with my best friend :D she's going to come and cheer me on at the race, as DH is off sailing today.

I really need to buy a new pair of summer trousers. I had a lovely pair that I got from debenhams last year, but they've worn through in the leg and torn really badly :( I also need a new sports bra, as one of the hooks looks like it might snap off!

    Morning diary
I've had quite an annoying weekend. 2 of the 4 house viewings were cancelled, and the other 2 houses were no good. Then my foot started hurting again halfway through my race and I had to pull out. :( I was on the way to getting a good time as well.

On the plus side I had a lovely time with my friend, got almost all the things i needed while shopping, and managed to do quite a bit of housework yesterday afternoon (on one foot while watching Glee dvd :D)

DH was spectacularly hungover on Saturday, and had a nightmare 4 hour drive to the Hamble for sailing. He then stayed up til about 530 drinking with his stepsister, and was ridiculously hungover for the sail back. He'll never learn he can't outdrink a 19 year old anymore! So he was tired and grumpy when he got home, hopefully he'll be a bit more cheerful tonight!

Foot feels better today, and I feel better for having done some housework, the flat was a pigsty. It was so depressing to come home to, but this morning I felt much better as it was so tidy in the sitting room :)

Am going to ask one of the running club for advice on my foot, but will have to rest it for a few weeks i think, so will need to find some low impact exercise to do instead in the meantime. Think I'll investigate the swimming pool schedule.

Not quite sure what to do about houses for the time being. We now can't give notice until 26th August, so will have to stop looking for a while, as we can't afford more than a weeks overlap on the contracts. If we don't find something by then, we may have to just give notice, and hope we find something quickly enough.

Bleugh, migraine yesterday. Woke up with it at about 230am, and it didn't start to ease until lunchtime. Feel totally washed out now. :(
Nothing to report on the moneysaving or house hunting fronts.

Oh no @ foot & migraine, sounds like you are having a bit of a rough time of it at the moment. Do you have any more houses lined up to look at?

At least you had a good time with your friend, sounds like your OH needs a week or two off the sauce to recover :rotfl:
