    Afternoon diary :)
Feeling a little delicate today after a lovely evening out with friends. DH was driving so is being very unsympathetic, git! No sympathy from me next time he's suffering :p
Nothing much to report, foot no better :(

    Hi,

Sorry to hear about the foot - that's not good. How is it today?

Why is it the men quite easily take the sympathy but never give it out when it comes to hangovers? :rotfl:

Good luck on the weight loss ladies, i'm aiming to get to 9st 7lbs myself as keep lingering around the 10st 7lbs and can't seem to get going on taking action....mind if I join in??

    Have a good day x:)

Foot a lot better today, hardly any pain at all. Will rest it a few more days and try a short run on weds/thursday to see if I can run my race on Sunday.

Going to view a house at lunchtime, fingers crossed that it doesn't get let in the meantime and that it's as nice as it looks in the pictures :)

Sadly the house was NOT as nice as it looked in the pictures. I actually suspect the agents of some sneaky photoshop-ing! It was a definite no from me, before I'd even seen upstairs. It had the most bizzarrely laid out kitchen I've ever seen, no storage, the sitting/dining room had been knocked through in a weird way, it left no space suitable to put a sofa in! Bedrooms ok, bathroom in a shocking state, and no shower. The agent stood there chatting about how the carpet was going to be replaced, and seemed oblivious to the big crack in the bath!
    On with the search!

    Oh, that's pants :(

Good luck with the hunting....it's frustrating as all the good ones go so quickly

Glad to hear the foot is much better, are you still planning on doing the race?

Sounds like the house was a bit of a state, when we started looking there were quite a few that we instantly walked in and were like 'errr NO'! At least it gives you a benchmark for future properties :)

Thanks guys :) I've found another property to view, hoping to see it on Wednesday. Unfortunately due to the way our current rental agreement is set up, if we don't give notice on Monday, we can't give notice until the end of August, so won't be able to move til September.

It's payday :j pleased to report that despite an expensive month, with car insurance and a garage trip for DH's car, and a couple of weekends away, we didn't add to our debt, it even went down about £100. Shame we didn't get to make our normal snowball payment, as we're only a couple of months away from clearing our second card, but we'll get back on track this month.

Going to view 3 more properties on Saturday, hopefully we'll find one we like and be moving at the end of August,

Best of luck with the house viewings, I really hope one of them is just perfect for you :D

Well done on the £100 reduction, I know it isn't what you might have envisaged but it's still a reduction and hopefully when you move things will improve much more :).
