HI EVERYONE!! Hope you are all well and had a good weekend! I know I'm a day late but was having a well earned day off from work yesterday!
PP - How awful that some people seem to find pleasure in causing upset to others and I agree totally with what others have said about ignoring the horrible little person!
Can I just ask.....Bargain_Rzl wrote:Well, you lot are an AWFUL and DISGRACEFUL influence on me:D:D - I am now the proud owner of my very first Pukka Pad Project Book QUOTE]... Could you tell me please what one of these is? I have no idea but it sounds cool!! Sorry if there is a link/discussion elsewhere!
When I finish at work, I'm off to leap around at aerobics for an hour, then home to OH and minced beef slices with potatoes! (Trying to use up stuff from the freezer!) Might even attempt another load in the WM and tackle 'Iron Mountain' which has grown up in my lounge!!
Have a good rest of the day everyone!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

Godd afternoon all
I've just had such a giggle, someone phoned me about some financial advice I wanted & in the course of answering her questions & had to give details of what my income is & where it comes from. Well I had to tell her about the s*x chat line, she laughed so much, she had to ring off & phone back after she had composed herself!
PP, Just remember, while they are having a go at you they are giving some one else a rest.
Hugs to all
Hester

Stay home and look after kids-no respect, as don't claim salary
have kids and work-responsible for all ills in society and evil neglecters of children, probably brain washed by evil feminists
work and don't want to have kids-selfish, probably will cause downfall of society as we know it
*climbs off soap box and hands it back to churchmouse*
So hurrah for us ladies, whatever we do!
I felt like a second class citizen when I was a stay-at-home mum after I'd just had my daughters. Then I felt guilty when I went back to part-time work and my mum took care of them while I was there (2 days a week). I now feel guilty because I am on Incapacity Benefit due to health problems and can't work at all - even though I have worked either full time or part time ever since I left college!
A really good friend of mine has worked full time since leaving college and has never wanted children. She has been told she is selfish for not wanting children!!!
Whatever us women do we can't win. We should stick up for each other more and be proud of what we achieve. There are scroungers who claim benefit and they give the rest of us a bad name.0 -

Queen.Bess - Pukka Pad is a range of spiral bound notebooks in funky stripy cover designs. The project book (A4 or A3) comes with moveable plastic dividers. There's been a bit of a craze for them lately on Old Style! (I got mine from Ryman's, by the way.)

Have started helping DD to make her puff ball skirt. It'll be lovely, and she'll really suit it. She wants to be fashion designer, so it's a useful skill. Luckilly she and I don't fall out as much as I did with my mother, and she's really enjoyong it - so am I! :T

Well, I managed to get some of the dreaded school uniform shopping out of the way today and am quite pleased with some of the prices.
I've bought 5 shirts, 2 pairs of trousers and a coat for both DS2 & 3 for just under £50. Feel a little nauseous as an assistant let slip that as of Friday there will be 20% off - but I know that I left it until the sale last year and spent weeks hunting down the right sizes, costing me a small fortune in petrol. As I the items I bought were the last in their size today I think I'd be taking a big risk by leaving it - even though they are bound to have a delivery in the meantime. Hopefully this info will help someone else though.
Moggins - I hope that hand of yours is feeling better - did you get anything in todays post?

hello,
back from the training day, wasnt too bad, it was about children enjoying energetic play, using their bodies to express feelings and ideas in response to music, run, skip, climb, balance, etc with skill, co-operate, awareness of space, safety and an awareness of the importance of health and fitness, we have two half mornings to do yet
penny-pincher- take no notice, you put me to shame sometimes with all you achieve for your family
have just scanned through all the threads, not long home, love to all x0
