Good to see you missy dee, Rotherham Lass, Intergalactic Floozie and Marzipan Fish!

Intergalactic Floozie - you only need to give your starting weight if you want to - some people find it focuses them having it in black and white (so to speak!), others just want to have the losses recorded - entirely up to you :D

Okay (deep breath) - as of today I was 14st 9lbs (that's 1st 4lbs on since Xmas and one dress size, two if I put on any more):eek::mad::mad::eek::eek::mad: I am such a fat knacker!!!!
    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
    Amount: £562.23

i saw someone say about their goal bmi-i have been set to get to the middle of the normal range but feel this is a tough goal considering i am 47--i havent been that light since i was 31--what are people's realistic goals on the bmi scale???(my current bmi is 24.1)

I dont go by the BMI scale really, I use it just as a guide. IF I were to be in the middle of the weights they give for me Id look anorexic. I know that because I was that weight 5 years ago and I did look awful. I think you know yourself when you are at a good weight for your height and build (and it aint when people look worried when they see you :))

Just reporting in Day 1's damage....

    Calories
    Bagel 230
    2 cheese triangles 80
    satsuma 20
    soya "chicken" fillet 225
    wedges 200
    corn on the cob 125
    bbq sauce 90
    2 digestives 160

    Total = 1130 cals

Not too bad - aiming for 1200 cals a day - could have done without the digestives really.
Full up and not eating anything else today.

I'm not counting drinks as they are either Diet Pepsi or low cal squash.

    Bring on tomorrow!

Hi, can I join you all please?

Been occassionally dropping into the slimming world thread but feel like a bit of a fraud because I haven't been sticking to it. As of tomorrow I am just going to eat healthier & I'm also joining the gym

As of tonight I weigh 12st 1lb, hope to lose 4lbs, got a little holiday to wales on the 14th so not putting too much pressure on myself!

Right guys thats me moved over here now. Had WI tonight and lost 2.5lbs so that brought my May total loss to 7.5lbs:D If June is even half as good I'll be well happy. Going shopping tomorrow to stock up for the week but will leave it until after dinner so I'm not tempted by the bad stuff out of sheer hunger. Lovely to have so many peeps on board this month, and thanks again to Dragon for keeping the thread so organised.
