Well I have had a complete disaster. Sat down to work out my points from the last three day, I have way exceeded my allowance. Thursday I went to the pub and drank 500ml wine and ate lots of crisps and nuts. And then last night we had raclette which was ultra healthy until you add the 5 slices of masdaam I had. They alone were 12 points, I'd had no idea. So I had 37 points yesterday:eek: (over double my allowance of 18). So far this week I have had 109 points, and I am allowed 126.

And I even though I have been running (3m Monday, 2m Wed, 2 m Thursday and 4 mile this morning), I tripped over like a clumsy kid :rotfl: and have made a right mess of my knee and, even worse, put a hole in my second favourite running troos. Boo

All in all a disaster. But I can redeem myself. Can't I?

Here it is - can't claim any responsibility for it (stolen from OS thread) and I can't cook but they still turned out ok!
Remember there is cheese in them too but only 80g in the whole lot and you can use reduced fat cheese. Yummy if you like savoury things.

    Cheesy Biscuits

    50g SR flour
    25g butter/marge
80g grated mature cheddar ( I sometimes use half this amount of cheese and they're still yummy or reduced fat cheese )
    splash of milk

Mix all ingredients together and knead a little until you have a ball
Roll out to about 2 1/2mm and cut into shapes
Bake at 200c/Gas6 for about 8-10 minutes until they start to colour.

The original recipe said to add 20g Parmesan and a pinch cayenne pepper too but they’re just as yummy without. You could use an egg yolk instead of the milk to bind

    Sounds yummy, thanks for this:A

Weigh in day today and I've lost 4lbs this week! :j
I decided that my fitness challenge for June is to do 1000 minutes of exercise (the same length of time it took me to do my 50 miles walking challenge last month) and to introduce some exercise other than just walking it all...

    This week I've managed to...
    • Walk a total of 349 minutes
    • Go ice skating twice (though the 1st time was really spent trying not to fall over rather than much actual skating :rotfl:)
I'm planning to go skating again next Sunday and probably walk a fair bit this week and to rearrange/remove furniture from my wee livingroom to have enough space to do my fitness DVD. This may have to wait till next weekend when I can try and bribe someone to help carry the heavy table to the other end of my flat though! :rotfl:

    Hi everyone!

Good to see everyone's doing so well!:j

I weighed myself this morning as Sunday is my usual weigh in day and I'm down 4lbs from last week!!!:D

I'm dead happy as I haven't been doing much exercise recently!

Anyway, taka, I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to pinch your fitness challenge idea of walking 50 miles this month. I did the race for life today, so will just count from then lol!

Keep going everyone and Good Luck for the coming week!:money:

I pinched the idea from someone else on the May thread so pinch away! :p It started as walk the equivalent of a marathon over the month but I did that by the 19th of May so I upped it to 50 miles. :D Just pray the weather is dry in June or it'll be a miserable challenge! Thats why I'm trying to introduce more exercise I can do inside! :rotfl:

Well done on the 4lb loss and competing the Race for life! :T
