Hi there,
Can anyone tell me how do I change the new settings back to the old ones. I find the screen quite difficult to read. I have to use a library computer, so will I be able to change the setting on a public computer.
Also, why do people change things when they were perfectly ok before? It does my head in, expecially in shops when they move stuff around!!!0 -

The settings will stay in place whenever you are logged in.
However, when you log out, or just view the forum while not logged in, the forum will switch back to the new look as that is now the default.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Got a quick spam question. As the spam button is now at the top, it would seem that you can only report the whole thread as spam, not individual posts? Is this right, as it seems a bit unfair on the OP if they've got a sensible post, and some idiot jumps in with a link halfway through. The only other option is to report the post as abuse which seems a bit OTT.
Or have I missed something? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
where has this valuable part of the forum gone.i used to use this all the time.can anyone help, how do i get it back?:(:j0

The spam button used to be at the start and end of a thread but never on individual posts. If the spam button was pressed using the one at the end of the thread then it meant the whole thread may be deleted which sometimes was a problem.
Not really OTT to report spam to abuse, all you need to do is say spam and they will sort it out.0 -
I am possibly missing a trick but I can't seem to find the Indexed collections in Old Style? Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

My suggestion/query - can you somehow enable your previous 'thanks' to be visible BEFORE clicking into the thread (ie from the main forum view)?Remember

shopping resource bar ??

Was going to post the same about the missing Resource Bar from the Gas & Electricity Forum.
It used to include the comparison sites that offered cashback/wine etc ... and equally importantly they were MSE affiliate links so presumably helped the financing of this site. It'll be difficult to direct forum traffic to them if a member is now expected to go trawling the main site to find the relevent affiliate links."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
