I get this everytime. I thought I had pressed the wrong button, then scrolled down to see I could edit and post.
Don't like the way the delete this post is at the top.0 -
I was using the new version and posted on another thread and suddenly changed back to the old version. Has this happened to anyone else.
Must say though, I much prefer the old version. Not as "glarey" on the eyes and I like the soft green colour - but then, I am a creature of habit!:rotfl:0 -

Another tiny niggle is with the 'Forum Jump.' I'd got so used to clicking on the forum I wanted and going straight there. Now it doesn't change until you click on the 'Go' button.
Can't tell you the number of times I've sat here waiting for the forum to change when I've only highlighted it and forgotten to click on Go. :rotfl:
That is exactly the issue I came on here to mention.
I've sat here for ages waiting for the page to turn before remembering the 'Go' button. I am essentially fairly lazy, and for that reason only I am going back to version 1.
I love the new look though, and if - in this instance - it was more user (me) friendly, I would stick with it.Cross Stitch Challenge member 11 - May challenge well under way

The overall style is okay, but I agree with a lot of other posters - the 'online' indicator is waaaay too big.
My real bugbear is SPEED, specifically loading a new thread - it often 'hangs' with just the first post showing, and all the while it seems to be trying to access facebook (according to my status bar). I assume this is connected to the stats box?
I have have zero interest in facebook, twitter and all the rest of it, and have taken an enormous performance hit from it - often waiting 30 seconds or so for the second post to appear. Can we possibly make this whole stats box thing optional, I would gladly be rid of it - maybe a 'disable' feature in the CP? It is purely detrimental to the forum.A man is rich in proportion to the number of things he can afford to let alone - Thoreau0 -

It's the same for me, everytime I try to go to a thread or a posting or even click on a link, it hangs and freezes my poor old desktop up. and I have to go to task manager or ctl-alt-delete to reboot it. The thought about the possibility of connecting to facebook stats makes me even more grumpy.0 -
If you're using Firefox you might consider using Adblock Plus. That'll provide you with the option to block loading of individual parts of a page on any site. You can then block common sources of delay like the facebook or google analytics activities. That also includes the capability to block images, say the new buttons, from loading if they bother you.0

The server serving up some of the forum images/icons etc needs a kick up the backside this morning.
Pages are loading quick enough, but some of the graphics is lagging way behind.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
