[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] sometimes it is like a slap in the face with the prices these companies give you. [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]
best suggestion, take all the stuff you want to sell, plus some other bits and bobs, go to a car boot sale and set up, that way your in control or what you want to sell them for, and if people arent interested, barter with them :)

think it might be the best option ! i have discs that date from the day dvd was realeased in the uk that dont have a scratch on them have a 2 year old ... no sure they will stay that way for much longer ! lol

What about car boot sale, would that be more appropriate, sell them for what you think there worth say £1-£10. Even with £1 per dvd or cd thats over £600 ;)

yeah i used gumtree already but decided to stear clear after several things i put on there recently where greeted with the email .... i will offer you less and you will send it abroad ( 4 diffrent items ) i am in india and i would like you to send it too someother country ... western union money transfer was mentioned ! anyone gets these emails stear clear serious scam !!!!
  • I do have sympathy. You spend a fortune building a collection and then when you no longer require it, others value it very low.

I'd suggest the ones you think may be worth more, would be worth looking at eBay and seeing if anyone is selling them and what sort of price they are going for. You may get a surprise.
  • Cheers to all those who gave me some constructive advice xx

    Could you just clarify something?

You are copying all your DVDs to a hard drive and then actually complaining that you aren't being offered much for the DVDs (that you have retained a copy of)?

no i am complaining about the fact that its obviously not just me thats being offered shocking exchanges films i bought less than a month ago are worth just as little as extremely rare editions .... 30p back for a disc you spent £20 on is shocking i underestand second hand depreciation .... but theres a fine line between fair and unfair !
