Of course(bear in mind this makes a two tier cake, fills two 10 inch tins)
Lemon Drizzle Cake
20oz self raising flour
20oz caster sugar
20oz cooking marg
10 eggs (based on 2oz per egg)
rind and juice of one lemon
Add flour, sugar and marg to bowl. Whisk eggs seperately, and slowly add to the rest of the mixture while whisking the mixture together to get plenty of air in
When it is a smooth consistency, slowly whisk in the lemon juice. Fold in the rind by hand to avoid losing air.
Pour and smooth into cake tins and cook on gas 4 for 1hr 20 mins.
For the center of the cake I used lemon butter icing, basically butter icing (soften butter and whisk in icing sugar) with a little lemon juice.
Once the cake is cold spread the butter icing on the bottom layer and sandwich the top layer ontop. Zest another lemon, then remove the juice. Add icing sugar to the juice until it is a thick consistency enough to very slowly fall off a teaspoon. Pour the majority of it onto the cake and use the remainder to drizzle down the sides with a teaspoon, finally sprinkle the lemon zest ontop.£2 Savers Club 2011 (putting towards a deposit) - £588

The make up bag and cosmetics cake is for my niece and the football cake is for my other nieces little boy. I really enjoyed doing the make up bag but the football cake was more of a challenge!Feb GC £80 per week (Well I'm gunna try:whistle:)

There really good, how did you do the football cake?
With great difficulty:rotfl:
The bottom cake is a 10" round chocolate cake filled with jam and buttercream. The football was made by baking the cake in a round pyrex bowl. I then got hubby to make templates out of cardboard which I used to cut out the white and black fondant bits on the ball. The half football was then placed on a cakeboard, coated in buttercream and the pieces stuck on, a bit like doing a jigsaw. The football was then placed on top of the bottom cake which I had put dowels in first to support it. The grass was made by pushing fondant through a garlic press. The little figure I made freehand from modelling paste. I'm not very good at explaining but I hope that helps:DFeb GC £80 per week (Well I'm gunna try:whistle:)
