The only changes I made were adding the Cadbury's fingers around the side, not cutting the cake in into thirds (next time I will cut it in half though) and for the chocolate ganache I used half 60% cocoa as suggested and half Galaxy to make it less bitter. I'm loing this thread - I'm newbie cake maker and have thrown myself in at the deep end by offering to bake my friends engagment cake new week - it's for 140 people!!!
So have been practising for the past 2 weeks and here are my creations so far...
My malteser cake was shamelessly stolen from Mrs B's album it looked SOOOO fab I hope you don't mind!!!
