    Hi
Thanks again:T this cake is fab would love to make this for my daughters 14th but not that good yet lol ould definatly need step by step instructions:rotfl:Where did you get the wire and the flower cutters from please. I saw on youtube a cake someone had made and she used wire and said you have to out them in a straw in the cake so as they are not touching the cake dont want to poison anyone lol would I need to do this. Thanks again

    Hi

The wire and the flower cutters are from hobbycraft. The cutters are PME daisy/marguerite plunger cutters. The wire was from the jewellery making section and is silver coated. I was also worried about poisoning people:eek: but my husband said people eat with silver cutlery so it should be ok;) Anyway I have since been to a local cake shop where they sold coated wires in different colours so would probably try them next time;)

    Hi

I bought wiltons colour paste from hobbycraft (kelly green) and just added a small amount at a time and kept kneading the fondant until I was happy with the colour. It's very very concentrated so just use a tooth pick to add tiny amounts of colour at a time :D

I just made another Mario cake today much the same as this but on a bigger board http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=13001233&l=75d7174261&id=759745463#!/photo.php?pid=4659029&id=317140568039

I was not best pleased yesterday, after dragging my 2 boys up to derby, to the market to find the cake shop shut at 3pm, we got there at 3.30pm, I was desperate to get some coloured icing and a few other things, I had to made do with getting a few things from Lakeland instead, although not all was lost, as I got box of 10 colour gels from there for about £10 which is great, plus I got a 100 piece cake decorating kit from the works for £2.99, right bargain.
I have 2 cakes to make next thursday, a star treck cake and a cricket cake, then pack to go on holiday! Eek!
