Seriously toots, you need to start behaving yourself.
:rotfl:top ideabut being MSE we should mobilise soappie with her SHUNT operation and get her to set up 'orf' :money:
And with that my friends I am off to bed. Got the work thing in the morn.

Toots - so sorry things aren't going smoothly. Hoping it was just a blip and you will be back home on schedule. Sending you lots of love.
I've finally gotten around to hoovering downstairs and mopping. All beds and towels have already been changed this week.
Woody has taken to hiding his conquests of birds/mice/voles under the children's beds as little gifts - he obviously has cottoned on to the fact that I rapidly dispose of them when they are left for me on the kitchen floor and has decided I am not worthy of them. Another task to add to my list of dailies I think. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I'm with Dusty on this one. Maybe not appropriate for your household but very much appreciated by others. My SSs are useless at stuff like that (and lie about when exams are!), their mother more so because she is too busy and too clever to pay attention to what they do. We would willingly pay for the school to tell us when they had exams, parents evenings, etc. We get copies of reports from school but that is it.
DD1 has had 2 copies of her exam timetable.. the third one was posted TO ME!!!!!! So they KNOW that I know when they are.
So why are they ringing? and especially at 8-8:15 am when we are 15 minutes walk from school..
I am so stupid I know she has no exams tomorrow but one on Friday morning.. I can read and everything
We get 3 reports a year posted out to us, letters telling u when they are doing well, letters when they are struggling a bit.. I was even posted 4 pages of French oral practice sheets last week.. she did her french oral 4 weeks ago! We do get loads of stuff which is why these calls are even less helpful/important/needed.
If you speak to them at the school they will give you a copy of their exam timetable I'm sure!I really like the fact we get texts from the school re school dates, exams etc, working full time means I do not have enough of me left after a busy week at work to remember everything that I need to, plus my Lyme Disease means I get foggy headed too so I appreciate any reminders about anything....because my brain can only hold so much info and I need prompts.
Those 'reminders' are fine.. they are sent to everyone (not that the girls school sends them anyway.. but DS2's school does.. and emails so I get most reminders in duplicate.. which is fine as they aren't too often) then I tell him and within 15 seconds he has forgotten already. I am sent copies of his class timetables, exam timetables.. everything!
I don't mind when they assume everyone is stupid but when it is singling out just a few of the parents (granted some of them might be!) it pee's me off..
Besides which I have barely slept in 2 weeks, I am in pain and I do not appreciate being nagged about something I am fully aware of when I am trying to get the youngest 4 up, fed and dressed, and have told them the day before we are aware of her timetable and do not need nagging. If she dares to ring on Friday I swear I shall not be respnsible for the tongue lashing... ok.. so I am not answering the phone.. better to ignore her than say something she might not want to hear... see.. getting tactful in my senility!
This morning DD1 fell about in fits of laughter when I simply replied 'we do have the exam timetable pinned on the wall, so I do know when she has her exams.'.. knickers in one hand and hairbrush in the other! I wasn't rude just very short.

Morning campers, I'm up bright and early although the weather outside is absolutely wretched, rain and gloomy
Just checked all my emails, sorted out my message rules so that emails go into their proper folders. For some reason I lost some of the rules overnight..it might have had something to do with the maintenance I did on it last night..lol
Started the list yesterday so sorry if I am behind with various people:
Kezlou how's the hand today honey? That's shocking what A&E did - although doesn't surprise me.

Haven't done everyone but will catch up with thread later on..
I'm feeling rather carpe at the moment as for some reason my throat and cold thingy is back with a vengenanceAlthough I keep checking myself for spots as my friend T has chickenpox in the house and I was over there last Thursday, and she rang me on Monday to say the babies had got it
So I am taking the cold&flu tablets and strepsils, and drinking gallons of ice cold squash.
Yet saying that I have still managed to keep on top of the housework, probably the energy tablets I keep taking while I am awake..lol
Might actually sit down and do some stitching later today while catching up with my afternoon of SciFi programmes, will see how I feel
Hugs and love to Toots, Diva and LL

morning everyone
beautiful day again here - think the rain yesterday evening really freshened things up.
Lots to do flying wise here today, but it mainly involves washing, ironing, & sorting out clothes for the holiday :j:j:j We go on Saturday to Gatwick, and fly at early o'clock on Sunday so there's loads to do, especially as I work in the mornings. Got distracted yesterday with the gardeningdoes decluttering weeds count??! So hopefully I will get round to the lists at some point today..
Sorry I missed your birthday soappie, and I'm glad toots is feeling a bit better. Hugs to everyone that needs them!

Morning all
Have only had a chance to skim read I'm afraid but did notice Toots has been having an interesting time. Hope it settles down soon xxx
We've actually had rain overnight which is good. It'll damp down all the pollen that's been making me sneeze the last couple of days.
Glad your holiday was good Crafty and I hope everyone has a lovely dayI am the leading lady in the movie of my life
