OK I weighed myself this morning and am quite pleased really... I started on 1st May 2010 @ 11st 10lb. This morning am 11st 3lb :D

I'm going to start with a small goal, 1/2 stone, then change it IF I make it!! I already do a bit of excersize every day, 1/2 hour poo picking first thing with dawg, 1/2 hour in evening (with horses obviusly) would like to do cross trainer 30 mins at least 3 times a week (achievable) and mebbe some jogging later... I would like to readh that 7lb goal by 28th September.... (We'll see...)

    DansMum 11st 3lb/0lb/10st 10lb/0lb/Tuesday (Is that right?)

Feel free to change it if not TPA thanks for starting this thread xx

    good afternoon every one....

sorry i've been AWOL but had a tough couple of weeks and this has been on the back burner.... but managed to hop on wii today and i'm the same as last weigh in so thats not too bad!!!

Fresh start today been shopping this morning lots of heathy stuff so back on the wagon.

Well done on the weightloss everyone!!!
  • Hi everyone.

I've been awol for a while but I think I'm going to bow out of this challenge. Long term I still want to lose weight but I have bought a sample wedding dress which fits perfectly and I don't know how much I can 'afford' to lose without it needing to be altered.

    Good luck to all!

Dinah!!!! 14k on your cross trainer!!!!!!! I can just about 5.5k on resistance 3.... Would love to know how it works out the calorie expenditure though... I have no pads or anything on mine...

I would guess it works it out based on speed you go at and the resistance it is at. 14k at resistance 11 (out of 16) works out that the dial tells me I need 1600 cals in an hour - which is hoccum! Thats almost exactly double what it really is (based on my heart rate monitor), and the websites tell me an hour at high intensity on the cross trainer is around 750cals - so I have to say I'm roughly halving the readings now and I think that it a LOT more accurate.

  • Forgot to weigh in this morning, I'll try and remember to do it before I get into the shower later.

Just popped in to say that in one year and 12 minutes time I'll be getting married, so I really have to get serious about shifting the last 16lbs now :D
