Hello everyone.

I have a MF thread of my own, ~I want to lose a significant amount of weight and lots of other MFW have said they also want to lose lb whilst gaining £:rotfl:

So if you would like to join us in our quest, add your name and the amount you would like to lose. You can reveal as much or as little information as you like, I have admitted to everything as I need to be shamed into doing something:p. My incentive is my looming 40th birthday and wanting to do a parchute jump for charity:eek:

OK, i'll start; My name is TPA, I have a weight issue of huge proportions - I am 5 foot 7 inches and currently weigh 17 stone 12.5 lb:eek:. I would like to get to 10 stone 7 lb in 112 weeks. (or before if I can)
Current weight 250.5 lb(17stone 12.5), would like to lose 103 lb (over 7 stone:eek:) to get me to 147 lb (10 stone 7 lb).

I don't think it realy matters if we all have different weigh in days, some of us are going to a slimming group so those days will be fixed, what ever is best for the individual.

TPAx

Gallygirl here, 48, 5'6. Was..... ahem...... heavier but have lost just over a stone so put my starting weight as 14st 3lbs :o. (199lbs)

Target of 12st (168lbs) by end of year :rotfl::T:eek::o:cool::rotfl:. 1st target is to get BMI down to below 30, currently 32 :o.

I will NOT be going skydiving. That's why we put seats INSIDE the plane for goodness sake :rotfl:. Although will obviously read of others exploits with fascination and maybe a little envy.

    Good luck everyone :T

Have read lots of threads on here, never had courage to join one, but this just about sums up my aims. Need to loose lots of weight, and pay off mortgage. So you can count me in.
Both children have just anounced they getting married next year, and endowment mortgage ends in couple of years. Surprise, surprise, the policy is not going to cover full amount of mortgage, so there will be a shortfall to cover .

Oooh, count me in, I've got stuck with the mortgage and the weight!

I'm 34, 5'4" and currently 10st 4lbs - I've been bouncing between 10st 1lb and 10st 5lbs for the last few months. I want to lose 18lbs to take me to 9st 0lbs, which is my 'I feel FABULOUS!' weight, however my other half says he's reserving the right to tell me to stop shrinking if I get too boney to make love to comfortably :p

I'm currently training for my first ever 10K race at the beginning of July, with the ultimate goal of running a marathon at some point, possibly in 2011. I took it up at the end of January in a desperate attempt to find a budget way of exercising that didn't involve a gym and much to my surprise found myself loving it!

    Can I join in too?

I have three things to lose - weight, a credit card debt and a mortgage. So far I have lost 35lbs since Jan 2010, reduced the CC's by 15k since Jan 2009 and the mortgage by 21K since we took it out in august 2008- although I dont 'overpay' the mortgage - i have reduced the term to 10 years and I know some people say that I should just throw eveything at the CC - I need the motivation of seeing it all reducing (debt and weight!!!)

Although I am pleased to have lost 35lbs, it is really slowing down and I have ar least another 42lbs to go, so joining this I hope will motivate me more.

    Facts: 5ft 7inches - was 17st 7 lbs - currently 15st 0lbs

Me too please! :D I have a stupid amount of weight to loose - the equivalent of an entire person! So I'll be here for a loooooooooooooooong while... :o :rotfl:

Since the start of May I have lost 11lbs. :D I've started walking loads too (well for me anyway :o). I've walked an extra 37.1 miles (eg walking instead of getting the bus, going for walks at the weekend etc) and I'm hoping to hit 50 miles by the end of May. Other than that I'm just trying to eat sensibly and healthily. I've been logging my food and exercise using foodfocus

My end goal is to have a BMI of 25 and be slim, healthy and fit enough to trek the Inca trail to Machu Picchu in Peru ~May 2012. I've wanted to go there since I was in my teens and I'd love to arrive there by doing the trek rather than getting the train.
