I would love to buy it. Unfortunately my Chondromalacia Patella* has flared up & I dare not aggravate it.
*This causes painful knees. I first had it nearly 20 years ago when I was 30 & did a lot of exercise. I aggravated it last week on my Reebok side steppy thingymadjig. According to wiki "This condition often affects young, otherwise healthy athletes...Pain at the front of the knee is common in young adults, especially soccer players, gymnasts, cyclists, rowers, tennis players, ballet dancers, horseback riders, volleyball players, and runners. Snowboarders and skateboarders are prone to this injury".
So am obviously extremely fit and athletic underneath the layers of fat, cellulite & general apathy :rotfl:. Or, it could be because I have big hips and just standing up straight puts strain on my knees as they try to adapt to the angle of my thigh bones.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Can I have a big word for the pain I get behind my knee please? I have to wear a support when exercising - like a 90 year old. It feels a little 'pinggy' then at night time it gets hot and aches and feels a little wobbily (a bit like my belly:rotfl:)
And thinking about it, we only need one copy of Shred in Lewis Lane surely?????????

No idea what yours is TPA, my pain is at the front. I'm proud of having the knees of an athletic teenage girl though :T. It's the rest of me that's not so good :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I have a copy of the shred too. I did it for the 2nd time yesterday. I know you are supposed to do it every day, but i was so sore last time i left it a week. I am actually not too sore this morning so that is good. I may even attempt it again today.
I have pretty dodgy knees too, and the warm up is fairly good so i have been able to do the lunges in it without any problems. I normally get the knee pinging too. (Ligamenty problem in my case from when i fell on it as a teenager in PE at school. :eek:)0 -
Sorry! Maths done...

Yep I'm on my lonesome so no temptations from that direction. However, work = lots of temptations. We seem to have cakes and biscuits umpteen times a week in my office! :eek: I have had to cut out crisps from my diet almost altogether - I've only had them twice in 3 months whereas they were a daily occurance before. They are something I just can't seem to eat in moderation so I'm avoiding them for now...
I have a really tight achillies especially in one foot (as a result of foot problems) so we'll see how it goes with the shred DVD. Exercising (carefully!) actually helps it but I don't want to injure it again. I just have to be very thorough doing warm-up stretches!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

That's what I just had my surgery for! I was told 90% of people who get it are female and under 21 or over 45, I was the first person outside of those perameters he'd ever diagnosed and he's been a knee specalist for 30 years. My right knee is now released, but my left knee may well need surgery in a few years.
I'm stropping at my scales. I'm being so good, and doing an hour a day on the cross trainer, but no shift in weight. I'm assuming I'm building muscle instead of fat, as I seem to be shrinking in measurement terms, trousers getting looser etc, but barely any drop.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi TPA
Can I join in please???? I need to get a grip... I reckon I've put 3 stone on in 6 years :eek:
Am one of those builds that cant do 8 stone despite my 5'5 height but the last time I weighed myself I was 11 st 10 that was beginning of May. I've been really good since then, but dare'nt weigh again. I rescued and mended a cross trainer from a skip and burn about 300 calories a week on that and am active with the horses, but am also quite muscular because of heaving around 500kg horses, barrows, bales of hay, shavings etc. I want to get back into my size 12 jeans so I reckon I need to head for 10 stone.
Taka I had a quick look at your website - scary!! I'll get my ickle trip out of the way first as I am in fact aiming for at least one cream tea a day while I'm there!!:D
Anyway going to head off and kidnap Jillian Michaels. Anyone want me to get Bob while I'm at it??? xx:rotfl:MFW 2011 No. 161 £946.54/£2000 TargetApril 9/15March 14/15

Dinah, hope you are recovering well. As long as you are getting trimmer that's all that matters :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
