Sorry for going AWOL am back in 'Martin' land now and have updated the weight losses. You all putting the weight in the colours is great, means I just have to cut and paste - thank you my angels xx
I lost half pound this week, I know this sounds bad bad i'm actually quiet happy with that.
Taka - broken scales:eek:. Have you looked on Amazon? I've got a set of Rosemary Conelly (thats so wrong!) set that I bought from the 'book man' in work, they cost me £8 and are fab, they weigh me the same as the posh ones in slimming world:o
I really must get into more exercising as i'm becoming a couch potato, I haven't even got the Wii fit out from under the T.V. cabinet yet:eek:
Note to oneself - MUST TRY HARDER!!

Gained another lb this week, I'm so cross with myself :mad::mad::mad: What's even more annoying is that after a week's rest from running (though I did do a lot of walking), I went for a run yesterday, felt good, planned to go again this afternoon but managed to pull some muscles in my back this morning and am now dosed up on Nurofen and hoping it'll be better by next weekend when I'm supposed to be doing my first 10k.

More good news today. Lost another 2.6lbs this week, bringing me down to 136.4lbs, the lowest I've been since uni! If I could do this every week I'd more than hit my target by the wedding, which I'd be really chuffed with. My cross trainer arrives this week to help my knee rehab, hopefully that'll keep me on track too. The week I get to under 130lbs I'll be over the moon!

Well, it's all gone horribly wrong! Somewhere between a few business lunches (yes, I'll have the steak), the girlfriend finishing up school fo the term and arranging dinners every night of the week in chinese, indian and thai restaurants, a long since arranged chinese takeaway and a wedding at the weekend, I've managed to stick on three pounds since last week. Today will be better as I've got a good walk and a healthy dinner in the planning and hoping to knock off these 3 before we head of to Vegas on Monday.Mortgage Free: 28/10/2010Time / Interest Saved: 18.5 years / £61,866.500

Harumphhhhhhh!
Sadly they seem to tally up with my parents scales so I think they may be right and my old ones were out! I've not overeaten and I've been exercising so I should have lost ~2lbs+ this week based on the last few weeks!
So ... begrudgingly ... this weeks update...

On better news I can (just) fit into my next size down jeans - not safe to sit just yet but I couldn't do them up a couple of weeks ago (and couldn't get them past my thunder thighs 2 months ago )! :j (Almost) 2 sizes down on my bottom half & 3 belt notches tighter too! :j Last time I fitted into them I was a stone and a half lighter than I am now so under my flab somewhere there must be a bit of muscle too as I seem to be a bit more toned!! Top half... I now fit into some blouses/tops I haven't worn for several years.
:j
I also had to run for the bus this morning and didn't feel like I was going to have a heart attack... in fact I wasn't out of breath! :j Wow! I like this exercise malarkey!:rotfl:

Hallo everyone. Please may I join you all. My weight has soared and dipped over many years and I know I can reduce it - but never get round to sticking to a weight reducing program...but with this thread, hopefully I will behave.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Evening every one, lb back on this week.... booo!!!!
although have been lapse on the exercise front and a few too many beers in the sun!
But good news have just ordered my wedding dress... i went for a size 12, i'm a 12 on top and 14 bottom at the moment but carry most of my weight on my thighs so hope to even out to a 12 all over, thankfully its quite forgiving fitted at top and drapes down!
Also on the mortgage front i have upped our monthly over payment to £130, as strangely our tax credits have gone up a little this year and we've finally ditched the sky.0
